A motor drive for actuation of an on- or off-load tap changer the drive has a drive motor, a load transmission having a first drive shaft carrying a first drive wheel and connected with the drive motor and a second drive shaft carrying a second drive wheel, and a mechanical coupling between the first and second drive wheels. The second drive shaft is operatively connected at a first end with the on- or off-load tap changer and at a second end with an indicator transmission. A setting indicator operatively connected with the indicator transmission displays the current setting of the on- or off-load tap changer, and a disengageable coupling is provided between the setting indicator and the load transmission.

The invention relates to an on-load tap changer () according to the reactor switching principle for uninterrupted load switching between different tap windings of a tapped transformer (), comprising: &#x2014;an inductor () which is designed as an inductive transition reactance; &#x2014;the inductor () being part of the on-load tap changer ().

On-load tap changer according to the reactor switching principle

An on-load tap changer for uninterrupted switching between different winding taps of a regulating winding of a tapped transformer in a transformer housing has at least one selector inside the housing for power-free selection of the respective winding tap of a tapped transformer that is to be switched over to and directly juxtaposed with the winding taps. It also has, spatially separate from the selector, a load-changeover switch for the actual switching from the connected to the new, preselected winding tap.

On-load tap changer

A tap-changer selector for uninterrupted switching between two winding taps of a tapped transformer has fixed contacts arranged circularly in several horizontal planes at a selector housing and a centrally extending rotatable drive shaft in an interior of the selector housing and in each of the horizontal planes of the fixed contacts carries at least one movable contact for connection thereof. The selector housing consists of a plurality of honeycomb segments, and the honeycomb segments are arranged adjacent to one another in the circle in a horizontal plane. A plurality of honeycomb segments arranged in a plane in the circle are arranged vertically one above the other and the honeycomb segments have mounting regions and are so interconnectible by these mounting regions to form when at least two honeycomb segments are connected a mechanically positive connection between at least two mounting regions of the individual honeycomb segments.

Selector for a tap changer

The invention relates to a tap changer having vacuum interrupters for switching over between winding taps of a tapped transformer without interruption. The tap changer according to the invention having vacuum interrupters is based on the general idea of combining the functionalities of at least one conventional vacuum switching contact which switches under load and a further mechanical switching means according to the prior art in just one single vacuum interrupter with two separately moving contact systems.

A tap changer for uninterrupted switching over between winding taps of a tapped transformer has two load branches each for a respective phase to be switched. Each load branch has a vacuum switching contact acting as main contact and parallel thereto at least one series connection of a switch-over resistance and a respective further vacuum switching contact. The two load branches are connected with a common load shunt or connectable by mechanical switching elements. Two respective vacuum switching contacts of each load branch are constructionally combined to form a single vacuum switching tube with two separate movable contacts actuatable independently of one another and a common fixed contact. The common fixed contact is connected with the common load shunt or connectable mechanical switching contacts.

The invention relates to a tap changer for the interruption-free switchover between winding taps of a tap-changing transformer. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a novel vacuum interrupter which is particularly suitable for such a tap changer. The tap changer according to the invention is based on the general concept of combining in each case one main contact (V1) and one mechanical switching means (U1), connected in series therewith, of a first load branch and an additional resistive contact (V3) of a second load branch in only a single vacuum interrupter () with a common housing (). The vacuum interrupter () according to the invention is furthermore based on the general inventive concept of replacing the functionalities of two required vacuum interrupters in accordance with the prior art and an additional mechanical switching means with a single vacuum interrupter () according to the invention by virtue of combining the design of a vacuum interrupter () with a plurality of moveable contact systems (I, II, III), which are arranged in separate vacuum interrupter chambers () which are sealed with respect to one another.

An earthing switch may be used for a metal-clad, high-voltage switchgear insulated with compressed gas. The mobile earthing contact is arranged so as to be insulated from the earthed cladding for measuring purposes. The insulation arrangement of the earthing contact is bypassed by an electrical connection, preferably outside of the cladding to earth the switching device. The electrical connection is disconnected when the earthing contact is connected in the closed position to a measuring device. An additional contact arrangement is provided that electrically bypasses the insulation arrangement and connects the mobile earthing contact to the earthed cladding when the switch is between the closed and open positions. This prevents surges resulting from pre-arcing on the insulation arrangement and possible damage to measuring instruments that may be connected to the earthing switches.

An encapsulated, compressed-gas-insulated, high-voltage switching installation is disclosed in which the circuit breaker is arranged horizontally in a pressure vessel having one end wall formed by a base plate to which are secured the interrupter units of the circuit breaker and all parts of the drive and arc extinguishing device, including the control unit and hydraulical accumulator. The base plate with the interrupter units and all parts of the drive and arc extinguishing device connected thereto can be moved as a structural unit on rollers connected to the base plate rolling on the installation ground or on a foundation, or lifted by a crane.

Encapsulated, compressed-gas-insulated, high-voltage switching

A three-pole cable connecting unit for a compressed gas-insulated high-voltage switching installation is disclosed having three cable connecting elements, a three-pole isolating switch and (optionally) a three-pole ground mechanism, as well as two three-phase conductor branches, all lying encapsulated within a housing. To make the housing as small as possible, the three cable connecting elements are introduced into the receptacle at the end wall in a generally parallel fashion to connect with the fixed contacts of the isolating switch. The isolating switch is generally arranged in a plane which lies at right angles to the diametrical longitudinal plane of the housing. The isolating gaps of the switch are inclined toward each other. From the contacts of the isolating switch, connecting conductors fan out toward a conductor branch at the housing side in such a way that they lie at the tips of an equilateral triangle. Likewise, other connecting conductors fan out toward a second conductor branch at the housing end wall where they also lie at the tips of an equilateral triangle. The actuation of the contact pins of the isolator switch occurs from a drive shaft arranged parallel to the diametrical longitudinal plane in the manner of a chord.
