The invention relates to an electric motor comprising an electronics housing in which motor electronics are accommodated, a stator bush for accommodating a stator and which is axially adjacent to the electronics housing, and a cooling impeller which is axially adjacent to the stator bush and which can be driven via a rotor, wherein a fluidically connected axial through-channel is provided in the stator bush and in the electronics housing, through which channel a cooling air flow generated by the cooling impeller can be conveyed, and wherein the cooling impeller has a blade geometry such that, in normal operation of the electric motor, the cooling air flow is drawn in radially from outside at a peripheral radial air inlet of the cooling impeller and pressed through the through-channel in axial direction.

The disclosure relates to a blade edge of at least one blade of an air-conveying wheel with an axial-side blade edge contour which extends from a blade leading edge to a blade trailing edge along a curve, wherein the blade edge contour has at least one front section which adjoins the blade leading edge in the radial direction, a rear section which adjoins the blade trailing edge in the radial direction, and a central section which lies between the front section and the rear section. The blade edge contour has an S-shaped curve progression in the central section in a lateral cross-sectional view, thus increasing an axial height of the blade in the direction of the blade trailing edge.

A diffuser () for a fan () of axial, radial or diagonal type of construction, has an inlet opening () and having an outlet opening () for a gaseous medium which flows through a diffuser interior (I), which is enclosed by an outer housing (), in an axially oriented main flow direction (S) from the inlet opening () to the outlet opening (). The cross section of the diffuser interior (I) increases from the cross section () of the inlet opening to the cross section () of the outlet opening (), wherein the outer housing () forms an outer diffuser part (AD) which delimits the diffuser interior (I) to the outside. A rotating electric machine () having a stator () in a housing () and a rotor () supported by a shaft (). The housing () circumferential wall () and first and second axially opposing end walls () support bearing flanges with bearings () for the shaft (). Two cooling fan impellers () are connected to the shaft (). An inner cooling fan impeller () positioned inside the housing () generates an inner cooling air circuit (A) inside the housing (). An outer cooling fan impeller () provided outside the housing (), generates an outer cooling air flow (B). The first end wall () is formed with a thermal conductivity of at least a specified value and has an outer cooling rib geometry () on its outer side facing the outer cooling fan impeller (), and an inner cooling rib geometry () on its opposing inner side.
