A drive device for a flap of a piece of furniture including at least one actuating arm which is activated by a spring device and is intended for moving the flap. A pushing-out device can move the flap from the closed position the opening direction toward the open position over a first opening-angle range (M). The spring device exerts substantially no force on the flap in the first opening-angle range (M), and the spring device moves the flap in the opening direction only in a second opening-angle range (M), wherein the second opening-angle range (M) adjoins the first opening-angle range (M) or, at most, slightly overlaps the first opening-angle range.

Drive device for a furniture flap

The invention relates to an actuator, including at least one pivotably supported actuating arm for moving a furniture flap. The actuating arm is or can be acted on by a spring device, and a retaining clip is proposed for the empty actuating arm on which no furniture flap is mounted yet. The retaining clip prevents accidental opening or deflecting of the empty actuating arm and for this purpose includes a brake or detent device which can be moved by a shaft (R). A transmission gear is provided by which the pivot speed of the actuating arm can be geared to a higher rotational speed of the shaft (R) at least over a region of the pivot travel of the actuating arm in the open direction.

Retaining clip for an actuator of a furniture flap

The invention relates to an actuating device for moving a flap of a piece of furniture, including at least one actuating arm for moving the flap, a base member on which the actuating arm is pivotally arranged, and a spring device able to act upon the actuating arm. An assembly securing device for the vacant actuating arm, which has not yet been fitted with a flap, includes a braking device which limits the opening speed of the vacant actuating arm.
