In one aspect the present disclosure relates to a sensor for measuring at least one physical or chemical parameter of a cartridge or syringe filled with a liquid substance. In further aspects the disclosure relates to a cartridge equipped with such a sensor as well as to a drug delivery device equipped with such a cartridge, wherein the sensor comprises: a planar flexible foil arrangeable to an outer circumference of a barrel of the cartridge or syringe, at least a first and a second measuring electrode arranged on said foil, and at least a first and a second contact electrode arranged on said foil, wherein the first contact electrode is connected to the first measuring electrode and wherein the second contact electrode is connected to the second measuring electrode.

Sensor for a drug delivery device

A data collection device is configured to capture images of a dosage indicator of a medicament delivery device and, if an injection is administered without prior confirmation of a dosage amount, to prompt the user to set a value for the delivered medicament dosage amount for storing in a dosage log. For example, the determination may be based on specific confirmation from the user or detecting a zero dosage amount in captured images. A suggested dosage amount may be displayed to the user, for example a highest or more recently programmed dosage amount prior to the injection or based on one or more previously confirmed dosage amounts. The data collection device may use one or more of optical character recognition, optical pattern recognition and determination of direction of rotation of a dosage adjustment component to determine whether an injection is being, or has been, administered and/or a suggested dosage amount.

An injection device for dispensing of a liquid medicament is disclosed. The device includes an elongated housing extending in an axial direction to accommodate a cartridge, a drive member axially displaceable inside the housing and being in sealed engagement with a side wall of the housing, wherein the drive member has an abutment face to axially abut with a proximal end of a barrel of the cartridge to displace the cartridge from the undeployed position towards the deployed position, wherein the drive member has an outlet located distally from the sealed engagement and further has an inlet located proximally from the sealed engagement, wherein the inlet and the outlet are in flow connection with each other via a flow path extending through the drive member and wherein at least one flow restrictor is arranged across or in the flow path.
