The present invention relates to a method for analyzing energy used for producing a unit of mass or volume of compressed gas (Specific Energy Consumption) in relation to a common output flow in a compressor system, said method comprising the following steps: —for time interval, T, collecting reference measured data points of common output flow Fand energy (or power) consumption E(or P) in the compressor system; —calculating energy (or power) use as a function of the common output flow E(F) (or <P>(F)) from the measured data points and calculating volume output as a function of the common output flow V(F): —calculating average energy consumed for producing a unit of mass or volume of compressed gas as a function of the common output flow <SEC>(F) from equation E(F)/V(F) (Or <P>)/P); —for time interval, T, collecting measured data points of common output flow Fand energy (or power) consumption E(P) in the compressor system; —calculating energy consumed for producing a unit of mass or volume of compressed gas as a function of the common output flow <SEC>(F) from equation E(F)/V(F) (or <P>(F)/F sav) or SEC(t,F) from P/F; —calculating the difference between <SEC>(F) and <SEC>(F) or SEC(t,F) over a range of common output flow F in the compressor system.

Method for analyzing energy used for producing a unit of mass or volume of compressed gas (specific energy consumption)

The present invention describes a method for gauging energy used for producing a unit of mass or volume of compressed gas (Specific Energy Consumption) in relation to a common output flow in a multiple compressor system, said method comprising: —from a first compressor, constructing an ideal specific energy consumption curve in the first compressor as a function of the output flow of the first compressor; and —from a first compressor and a second compressor, constructing a combined ideal specific energy consumption specific energy consumption curve in the first compressor and the second compressor as a function of the combined output flow of the first compressor and the second compressor, wherein the method involves constructing one or several ideal specific energy consumption curve(s) for multiple combined compressors, in any combination(s), and wherein the method involves creating a theoretical operation model for the multiple compressor system.

Method for designing, gauging and optimizing a multiple compressor system with respect to energy efficiency

The present invention provides a method for analyzing, monitoring, optimizing and/or comparing energy used for producing a unit of mass or volume of compressed gas (Specific Energy Consumption) in relation to a common output flow in a multiple compressor system, said method comprising: &#x2014;collecting measured data of common output flow and energy/power use and calculating the specific energy consumption in the multiple compressor system, &#x2014;identifying which data points of measured specific energy consumption that affiliate to a certain compressor or compressor combination in the multiple compressor system and/or operating mode(s) of the multiple compressor system; and &#x2014;plotting the data points of measured specific energy consumption that affiliate to a certain compressor or compressor combination in the multiple compressor system and/or operating mode of the multiple compressor system and marking affiliation of said data points to the certain compressor or compressor combination and/or operating mode.

Method for analyzing, monitoring, optimizing and/or comparing energy efficiency in a multiple compressor system

A method of monitoring monitored locations by means of a monitoring system. The monitoring system comprises a plurality of monitoring moduleseach of which has a light-sensitive sensor for monitoring the monitored locations. The monitoring system further comprises a remote monitoring stationwith an operator. The method comprises the steps of recording by each of the monitoring modulesan image of the monitored location associated with the monitoring moduleextracting in each of the monitoring modules an area in the recorded image that differs from a reference image, and extracting in each of the monitoring modules an object from the area. The method further comprises classifying in each of the monitoring modulesthe object based on characteristics, such as a characteristic of the type: size, shape and/or movement history, associated with the object, if the object is a human alarm object, and, if the object is classified as a human alarm object, transmitting data representing the area in a stylized way to the monitoring stationand recreating said transmitted data in the monitoring stationand displaying the same to the operator for verification of the human alarm object.

The method comprises the steps of recording an image of the monitored location with the monitoring module ( ), segmenting out a distinct region by comparing the recorded image with a reference image in the monitoring module ( ), creating an outline shape in the monitoring module which represents the edge of the distinct region, transmitting data which represents the outline shape to the recipient unit ( ), recreating the outline shape in the recipient unit by means of said transmitted data, and displaying the outline shape visually in the recipient unit.
