A device for percutaneous transpedicular fusion includes at least two straight pedicular cannulas arranged respectively on the upper or lower vertebra, or on the two vertebrae of the spinal segment, at least one guide pin with a curved profile, which is implanted in the endplate of the corresponding vertebra through the corresponding pedicular cannula, of a flexible cannulated drill bit guided around the corresponding guide pin and driven in back and forth movements by a cannulated drive system to nibble out gradually slots in the lower and upper endplate of each vertebra and reduce to flaps the nucleic tissues of an intervertebral disk for the production of the intersomatic space, of an injection device connected to one of the straight pedicular cannulas for the injection of the graft into the intersomatic space, and closing devices that are screwed into the holes left free after retraction of the straight pedicular cannulas.

Device for percutaneous transpedicular fusion

The present invention relates to a bone screw comprising a screw body comprising a proximal end, a distal end, a longitudinal axis and a thread along all or a portion of said screw body; a screw head; a through bore extending coaxially through said screw head and through said screw body from the proximal end up to the distal end; at least three blind channels angularly-disposed around the bore; each of said channels being configured to receive a perforated catheter or a needle; a plurality of radially-disposed fenestrations; wherein each of said channels is connected to an exterior of said screw body through at least one fenestration; and flexible directing means secured to the screw head. Cannulated bone screw and methods of use therefof

There is provided a posterior lumbar joint prosthesis which includes prosthetic elements reproducing the movements of the joint facets and vertebral anchors which adapt to the variations in the anatomy of vertebra. In use, the prosthesis has lower and upper connectors on each side of the lumbar vertebra. The lower connectors are coupled with, and pivotably mounted onto, respective lower pedicular screws, and a member defining a member axis links lower and upper connectors on each side of the lumbar vertebra. Upon lateral flexion of one of the upper and lower vertebrae relative to the other, each lower connector is capable of multiaxis pivotable movement relative to the respective lower pedicular screws such that each member is capable to pivot with respect to (i) the axis of the lower screw, (ii) a first axis intersecting the lower screw and the lower connector, and/or (iii) an axis intersecting the above first axis and the lower screw, while the member can also move along the member axis.

Nuclear implant

A process for nucleotomy of an intervertebral disk to create a nuclear space and a method for replacing a nucleus pulposus of an intervertebral disk after a nucleotomy are provided. The methods position a nuclear implant between two overlying and underlying vertebrae of a spine segment in the form of one or more continuous wire arranged as a stack of helices inside the nuclear space.

The invention concerns an intervertebral implant that includes a spacer designed firstly to assume an implantation shape in which the spacer has two opposed channels () bordered by retaining wings (), intended to receive the two spinous processes of two vertebrae, and secondly an insertion shape in which the parts of the implant forming the channels () are separated by a value (d), and on at least one of their sides are lacking the retaining wings (), characterized in that the implant () is made from a shape-memory material, so that the implant changes to its implantation shape when it is subjected to heat, and so that, in this implantation shape, the parts of the implant forming the channels () are separated by a value (D) that is greater than the value(d) of the insertion shape, in order to ensure the separation of the spinous processes.
