The invention refers to a chairlift loading apparatus comprising at least two adjacent timing gates for regulating a flow of persons passing through said timing gates, the loading apparatus comprising a high-risk situation detection system comprising: a detection device capable of determining the presence of a potential person passing through each of the timing gates and determining whether the potential person is taller than a predetermined height; and a data processing unit configured to determine, from the data from the detection device, the existence of a high-risk situation when a person who is shorter than the predetermined height is detected in front of a given gate of the adjacent gates, and no person who is taller than the predetermined height is detected in front of one of the adjacent gates.

Chairlift loading apparatus for the loading of persons and its associated detection method

A fault location system in a cable transport installation comprises a safety unit () and an end module () connected by an electrical safety line (). The safety line () comprises a plurality of cable fault contacts () of the normally-closed type connected in series. The location system includes a plurality of location modules () distributed along the transport installation, each of which comprising a first test contact (), of the normally-open type, for short-circuiting the safety line (). Once a fault coming from one of the cable fault contacts () is detected, each location module () is capable of selectively closing its first test contact () so as to be able to locate said faulty contact () on the safety line.

Fault location system

A transport installation comprising an aerial rope with continuous running on which vehicles are suspended by detachable grips, comprises a transfer circuit equipped with means for moving the vehicles. The means for moving comprise at least one set of wheels with pneumatic tires one of which wheels is connected to a power take-off derived from running of the rope and equipped with drive means whereby each wheel is made to rotate by one of the adjacent wheels. One of the wheels of said set of wheels is connected by transmission means to the output shaft of an electric torque motor generating a constant turning torque independent from the speed of rotation of said output shaft.
