A device for the adjustable fastening of an accessory on a gliding board, which comprises a base comprising means for fastening the accessory and which accommodates a bar having a toothed part suitable for positioning in a complementary toothed part secured to the gliding board, which device comprises a crank that can rotate within the base and one end of which is connected to a lever, and wherein the bar has one degree of freedom and a part in contact with the bent part of the crank, so that a first position of the lever corresponds to the low position of the toothed part and a second position corresponds to a high position of the toothed part.

Adjustment device for an accessory such as a ski binding heelpiece

Adjustable base for a ski binding, comprising a rail () for mounting on a ski, a row of teeth () extending parallel to the axis of the rail, a plate (), for carrying a ski-binding element, mounted slidably on the rail and carrying a toothed latch (), that can be displaced transversely to the rail, for engaging in the teeth of the row of teeth in order to immobilize the plate on the rail through the action of a knuckle-joint mechanism. The teeth () of the row of teeth extend transversely to the rail, occupying approximately half the width of the rail, and the latch () includes a number of teeth that is greater than two and advantageously of a length substantially equal to the width of the row of teeth (), and it is displaceable from one side of the rail to the other.

Adjustable base for a ski binding

Device for adjusting the relative position between a first part, for example a ski binding heel-piece, equipped with a toothed strip ( ) and a second part, for example a slide ( ), equipped with two opposed sets of teeth ( ) collaborating with the sets of teeth ( ) of the strip. The sets of teeth of one of the parts are offset by a half-tooth and the teeth of the sets of teeth are truncated. The sets of teeth of the two parts come into mesh alternately on one side and the other, making it possible to have a pitch for adjustment equal to a half-tooth rather than a full tooth. The fineness of the adjustment is thus improved.

Device for adjusting the position of a binding for securing a boot to a gliding board

A support device on a ski for the front part of the sole of a ski boot is held by a releasable binding holding the front of the boot, including a support in which a support plate is slideably mounted transversely to the ski. A limiting arrangement limits the displacement of the support plate in the support and includes stops on both the support plate and the support. A transverse helical spring is engaged partially in the support plate and partially in the support and works in compression between the support and the support plate upon displacement of the support plate. A support device using a helical return spring is thereby produced in which the support plate travels substantially farther than in the prior art, while being perfectly guided and held in the support.

Support device for a ski boot

A rear binding (,) releasably clamps a heel (,) of a boot (,) to a ski (,). A front binding (,) which engages a toe (,) of the boot releases under lateral force towards the left or right side of the ski. A support assembly (,) engages a sole (,) of the ski boot to reduce frictional forces between the ski boot and ski which might impair the release of the front binding. The support device includes a stationary support (,) which is mounted to the ski and which defines a lateral groove (,) having a generally inverted T-shaped cross section. A movable element (,) which is slidably received in the groove has an upper surface that supports the boot sole. A friction reducing element (,), such as a layer of low coefficient of friction plastic is disposed between the movable element and the stationary support such that the movable element and the toe of the boot can move laterally with minimum frictional resistance.

Ski binding with lateral breakaway action

In a ski brake with brake arms (12) and actuating arms (14) a pedal (16) is mounted to the actuating arms (14) about a second transverse axis (15). A linkage arrangement (17) is provided approximately parallel to the actuating arms (14) and is pivotally connected to the pedal (16) about a third transverse axis (18) and to the ski about a fourth transverse axis (19). The fact that the spacing of the second transverse axis (15) from the third transverse axis (18) is somewhat smaller than the spacing between the first transverse axis (13) and the fourth transverse axis (19) means that the pedal (16) can execute a small counter-pivotal movement on transfer of the ski brake from the braking position into the rest position.
