Laser cutting machine

A gas supply device for a laser machining head is provided for generating a homogeneous gas flow. The gas supply device includes a gas inlet, a shared volume for superimposing a laser beam and the gas flow, and a gas channel system which, starting from the gas inlet, branches at least twice and connects the gas inlet with several outlet openings at the shared volume. The gas channel system and the outlet openings are configured to provide a substantially homogeneous gas flow to the shared volume.

A laser machining head for machining a workpiece with a laser beam, having a mounting, beam-shaping optics, which are mounted on the mounting such that they can be displaced in the longitudinal direction of the laser beam. In order largely to avoid contamination of the optics and in order to hold the optics securely in their adjusted position, even if high inertial forces occur as a result of higher accelerations, a belt drive is provided for displacing the optics.

Laser machining head

An insert () for holding an optical system (), in particular a focusing optics, in a laser machining head () for machining a workpiece with a laser beam. The optical system () is displaced in the longitudinal direction of the laser beam relative to the insert () via adjusting means. The adjusting means includes a linear adjusting device () with a synchronous linear motor (). The laser machining head () has a housing () in which the insert () can be introduced laterally.
