A ground drilling device has a drilling carriage which defines a drill string axis, a drill rod magazine for a plurality of rod sections, and a transfer device for the transfer of a rod section between the drill rod magazine and a position of the rod section in the direction of the drill string axis. The ground drilling device also has a guide on a top of the drill rod magazine that is configured to guide movement of the transfer device.

An earth drilling device includes a frame and a slide which is movable forward in the feed direction and backwards away from the feed direction. The frame includes a tilting device which causes the slide to incline relative to the frame and the feed axis when the slide is moved backward to the feed direction. An additional drill section may be inserted into the slide when it is inclined, then the slide may be moved forward in the feed direction to feed the additional drill section into the soil. A method for moving a drill section includes moving a slide opposite a feed direction in a frame. A tilting device causes the slide to incline relative to the frame and the feed direction, and an additional drill section is introduced into the slide. Then the slide is moved in the feed direction, feeding the additional drill section into the soil.

Earth drilling device and method

The invention relates to an apparatus for inserting a new pipe into an old pipe by means of a self-driven impact device, which simplifies the insertion of a new pipe into an old pipe, and wherein blocking elements of an apparatus according to the invention engage with the inside wall of an old pipe in order to prevent any movement of the self-driven impact device in a direction opposite the direction of advance, as well as a method for using the device. The apparatus according to the invention has blocking elements, which are disposed on at least one base body, but preferably four base bodies, which are in turn releasably mounted on the self-driven impact device. This method is characterized in that the base bodies together with the blocking elements and the self-driven impact device are salvaged by the new pipe.
