The disclosed computer-implemented method for generating training documents used by classification algorithms may include (i) identifying a set of training documents used by a classification system to classify documents written in a first language, (ii) generating a list of tokens from within the training documents that indicate critical terms representative of classes defined by the classification system, (iii) translating the list of tokens from the first language to a second language, (iv) creating, based on the translated tokens, a set of simulated training documents that enables the classification system to classify documents written in the second language, and (v) classifying an additional document written in the second language based on the set of simulated training documents. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

Systems and methods for generating training documents used by classification algorithms

In one embodiment, a device in a network classifies Internet content data using one or more classifiers to identify a plurality of content classes for the content data. Each content class has a corresponding classification score based on the classification. The device determines whether any of the classification scores exceed a threshold level. The device identifies a set of content groups, where each of the plurality of content classes is associated with one of the content groups. The device associates the content data with a selected one of the content groups based on a determination that the classification scores for the plurality of content classes do not exceed the threshold level.

According to one embodiment, a method for predicting the trustworthiness of a particular website comprising receiving information about a plurality of websites and constructing a hierarchy of groups from the received information, the hierarchy of groups comprising one or more tiers and each tier comprising one or more groups. The method further comprising receiving information about a particular website and predicting the trustworthiness of the particular website based on the hierarchy.

System and method for hierarchical and chained internet security analysis

According to one aspect, a method of assessing typicality of a first name that includes a plurality of characters includes obtaining the first name, determining at least a first N-gram size, and extracting a first plurality of N-grams of the first N-gram size from the first name. The first plurality of N-grams is analyzed with respect to a model. Analyzing the first plurality of N-grams with respect to the model includes obtaining a first score. Finally, the method includes determining whether the first score indicates that the first name is typical.
