The present invention relates to a wireline plug system for setting a permanent plug in a well for plugging and abandonment, comprising a wireline pumping tool comprising a pump powered from surface via a wireline, the pump comprising a pump inlet and a pump outlet, the wireline pumping tool having a first end connected to the wireline and a second end, a plugging and abandonment plug comprising a first plug end and an opening in the first plug end, and an engagement tool for releasably connecting the plug to the wireline pumping tool, the engagement tool having a through-bore fluidly connecting the opening in the first plug end with the pump outlet, wherein the plugging and abandonment plug comprises a tubular metal part and an expandable metal sleeve surrounding and connected to an outer face of the tubular metal part, the tubular metal part having an expansion aperture fluidly connecting an inside of the tubular metal part and a cavity between the expandable metal sleeve and the tubular metal part. The invention also relates to a wireline plug setting method for setting a permanent plug in a well for plugging and abandonment on the wireline.

Wireline plug system

A method for removal of at least part of a first well tubular metal structure in a borehole of an existing well having a top, the first well tubular metal structure having a longitudinal extension and a first end closest to the top. The method includes inserting a downhole wireline tool having an anchor section and a machining device in the first well tubular metal structure, positioning the downhole wireline tool opposite the first section of the first well tubular metal structure so that the machining device is positioned 8-12 metres from the first end of the first well tubular metal structure and the anchor section is arranged above the machining device, and anchoring the downhole wireline tool opposite the first section by activating the anchor section to abut an inner surface of the first well tubular metal structure.

Downhole method for removal of tubular metal structure

The present invention relates to a downhole method for providing a zonal isolation at a predetermined position in an annulus between a wall of a borehole and a well tubular metal structure having a longitudinal extension in an existing well, comprising inserting a downhole tool in the well tubular metal structure, positioning the downhole tool opposite the predetermined position, separating a first section of the well tubular metal structure from a second section of the well tubular metal structure by machining into and along a circumference of the well tubular metal structure, inserting an unexpanded annular barrier between the first section and the second section, and expanding the annular barrier for providing zonal isolation at the predetermined position.

Downhole method and system for providing zonal isolation with annular barrier expanded from within and through well tubular metal structure

The present invention relates to a downhole wireline machining tool string for increasing an inner diameter of a well tubular metal structure in a well. The downhole wireline machining tool string has a longitudinal axis and comprises a rotatable tool part comprising a machining tool having a first end part, a second end part, a diameter and a circumference, and a stationary tool part comprising a driving unit configured to rotate the rotatable tool part and powered through the wireline. The machining tool comprises a body having an outer face, and the machining tool further comprising a plurality of inserts, each insert having a length along the longitudinal axis, and the inserts projecting from the outer face of the body and being distributed around the circumference. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a machining tool for increasing an inner diameter of a well tubular metal structure in a well or cutting out a piece, e.g. in a downhole valve.

Downhole wireline machining tool string

The present invention relates to a workover tool string for cutting into a production tubing of a well completion having a top, the well completion comprising a casing into which the production tubing is arranged and a production packer arranged between the casing and the production tubing defining an annulus above the production packer, the workover tool string comprising: a longitudinal axis, a first tool string end and a second tool string end, the first tool string end being arranged closer to the top when submerged into the well completion, a tubing cutting unit comprising a body and a cutting edge configured to be rotated around the longitudinal axis while being projected in relation to the body for cutting into a wall of the production tubing from within in order to separate a first part of the production tubing closest to the top from a second part of the production tubing, wherein the workover tool string further comprises a tubing penetration unit comprising a projectable penetration element configured to create at least one hole in the wall of the first part for creating a fluid communication between the annulus and an inside of the production tubing in order to obtain well control by circulating fluid there between, the penetration unit being arranged closer to the first tool string end than the tubing cutting unit. The present invention further relates to a downhole system and to a repairing method.

Workover tool string

The present invention relates to a fracturing method for providing fractures in a formation downhole for optimising hydro-carbon production, such as gas or shale gas production, in a well having a well tubular metal structure comprising several self-closing flow assemblies, each self-closing flow assembly comprising a sleeve which is movable along a longitudinal axis of the well tubular metal structure for opening or closing a port in the well tubular metal structure. The method comprises providing fracturing fluid derived from in situ hydro-carbons; submerging an activation device into the well tubular metal structure; pressurising the well tubular metal structure by means of the fracturing fluid derived from in situ hydro-carbons for moving the activation device towards a first self-closing flow assembly; engaging the sleeve of the first self-closing flow assembly by means of the activation device; further pressurising the well tubular metal structure by means of the fracturing fluid derived from in situ hydro-carbons for moving the sleeve of the first self-closing flow assembly and thereby opening the port; injecting the fracturing fluid derived from in situ hydr-carbons through the port of the first self-closing flow assembly for providing fractures in the formation; decreasing a pressure of the fracturing fluid by 0.5-20% for releasing the activation device from the first self-closing flow assembly, thereby closing the port; and moving the activation device by means of pressurised fracturing fluid for engaging a second self-closing flow assembly.

Fracturing method using in situ fluid

A downhole repairing system includes a downhole straddle assembly for straddling over a zone downhole in the well having a plurality of tubular sections. A downhole setting tool string has a tubular tool part with expansion openings for allowing pressurised fluid to flow out to expand expandable metal sleeves. The first end tubular section has a groove for receiving at least one retractable engagement part of a connection tool of the downhole setting tool string, and the second outer tool diameter is smaller than the second end inner diameter creating a first sealed distance which is less than 2 mm.

Downhole repairing system and method of use

The present invention relates to a downhole plug and abandonment system () for a well (), comprising a first well tubular metal structure () having a wall, a second well tubular metal structure () having a wall, the second well tubular metal structure being arranged inside the first well tubular metal structure, the well tubular metal structures having longitudinal extensions and being arranged in a borehole () of a well, a packer () arranged between the first well tubular metal structure and the second well tubular metal structure defining an annular space () above the packer, a first plug () arranged in the second well tubular metal structure dividing the second well tubular metal structure into a first part () and a second part (), the first part being closest to a top of the well, and a cement plug () arranged in the first part on top of the packer and the plug. Furthermore, the present invention relates to a downhole plug and abandonment method.

Downhole tool string for plug and abandonment by cutting

A geothermal energy extraction subterranean system for extracting heat from a subterranean formation has an injection well in a first borehole and a first production well extracting the heated working fluid through a first production opening. The first well tubular metal structure has first and second annular barriers to isolate a production zone, each annular barrier including a tubular metal part having a first expansion opening and an outer face, an expandable metal sleeve surrounding the tubular metal part and having an inner face facing the tubular metal part and an outer face facing the wall, each end of the expandable metal sleeve being connected with the tubular metal part. The first production zone is arranged between the first and second well tubular metal structures so that the heated working fluid is extracted in the second well tubular metal structure through the first production opening.

Geothermal energy extraction subterranean system

The present invention relates to a downhole completion device configured to be mounted as part of a well tubular metal structure. The downhole completion device comprises a housing enclosing a closed space, an electrical component arranged in the space inside the housing, the housing being filled with a liquid having a first volume of 1 bar at 20&#xb0; C., wherein the housing has a first housing section and a second housing section, the first housing section having a first thickness and the second housing section having a second thickness, and the second thickness being smaller than the first thickness so that the second housing section is more flexible than the first housing section. Furthermore, the invention relates to a downhole completion system.

Downhole completion with enclosed sensor

A wireline tool for sampling/jetting fluid in a well includes a pump with an opening, and a chamber for collecting/jetting fluid, the chamber having first and second ends. The chamber includes first and second pistons dividing the chamber into first, second and third chamber sections. The first and second pistons are attached to respective piston rods, and the rods are supported by respective supports. A first spring is provided between the first piston and its support and another spring is provided between the second piston and its support. When the pump operates, the pistons are forced in one direction, hence activating spring forces of the springs and allowing fluid to flow from one chamber section to another chamber section.

Dual function downhole tool

The present invention relates to a downhole system for a well producing hydro-carbon-containing fluid. The downhole system comprises a casing comprising a first casing part and a second casing part, the second casing part having a casing thickness and comprising at least one sleeve having an inner face, and the second casing part being substantially a monobore in that the second casing part has an inner diameter which varies by less than twice the casing thickness; and a drop device for being immersed into the casing having at least one sleeve having an inner face. The drop device comprises a body having a width; a leading end; and a trailing end. The body further comprises an expandable sealing element arranged between the leading end and the trailing end, moving from a first position in which fluid is allowed to pass the device and a second position in which the sealing element abuts the inner face of the sleeve and seals off a first zone in the well from a second zone in the well. Furthermore, the invention relates to a downhole system and a stimulation method.
