An on-load tap changer of a resistor type includes a selector base plate; a selector mounted on the selector base plate; a diverter switch base plate; a diverter switch mounted on the diverter switch base plate and having a transition resistor; and a common drive shaft which is configured to actuate the selector and the diverter switch.

On-load tap changer

An on-load tap changer has a load changeover switch insert having a switching tube rotatable about an axis, at least one switching module associated with the switching insert and having at least one switching segment fastened to the switching tube, an oil tank, and a resistor subassembly having a plurality of separate and identical resistors. An actuating arrangement associated with the switching module at an inner wall of the oil tank has a plurality of identical actuators associated with the switching module at the inner wall of the oil tank. The on-load tap changer is a load selector or a load changeover switch depending on the arrangement of the at least one identical switching segment, the resistor subassembly, and the mounting of the plurality of identical actuators at the inner wall of the oil tank.

Arrangement of vacuum switching tubes in a load transfer switch

The invention relates to an on-load tap changer for step transformers, which has one main current branch and one auxiliary current branch for each of the two winding taps to be switched. In each main current branch and auxiliary current branch, switching is accomplished by means of a vacuum switching tube. According to the invention, an additional mechanical contact is provided in each of the main current branches and in each of the auxiliary current branches between the respective winding tap to which said branch is electrically connected and the respective vacuum switching tube in said branch. Said mechanical contacts are switched in such a way that the vacuum switching tubes in the main current branch and the auxiliary current branch of the unconnected winding tap can be galvanically isolated from the unconnected winding tap.

The invention relates to a tap changer having vacuum interrupters for switching over between winding taps of a tapped transformer without interruption. The tap changer according to the invention having vacuum interrupters is based on the general idea of combining the functionalities of at least one conventional vacuum switching contact which switches under load and a further mechanical switching means according to the prior art in just one single vacuum interrupter with two separately moving contact systems.

The present invention relates to a load transfer switch for a tap changer, comprising permanent main contacts that switch powerlessly for each phase. The general inventive concept lies in connecting the fixed permanent main contacts of side A or B of the load transfer switch by means of a movable rail-shaped permanent main contact that establishes an electrical connection to the corresponding permanent main contacts of the load line only in the end positions of the movable rail-shaped permanent main contact and in addition only provides for a single deflection for actuation, which connects in a purely compressive manner the plurality of contact fins of the corresponding fixed permanent main contact, which contact fins are connected in a resilient, articulated manner.
