A filler neck for the introduction of fuel into a fuel tank of a motor vehicle is constructed of at least two interconnected injection-molded half shells, each half shell having outwardly curved regions which form a filler pipe and vent lines. Also, receptacles for valves and filters are integrally formed in the outwardly curved regions.

A delivery device ( ) for delivering fuel, having a delivery pump ( ) and a fuel filter ( ), has a bypass line ( ) which is conducted past the fuel filter ( ). When new, the delivery pump ( ) delivers fuel through the fuel filter ( ). After the fuel filter ( ) has become clogged with dirt, the fuel is delivered by the bypass line ( ) through a second fuel filter ( ). By this means, pollution of the environment with fuel is kept particularly low.

A plastic tank comprises a line which is connected at least in certain sections to its wall and is formed in one piece with the plastic tank. For its production, the plastic tank is injection-moulded between a hollow mould and an inner mould inserted into the latter, the mould having a recess, in which a sprue body is formed as the starting material for the line. Before this sprue body can solidify completely, material is blown out from it by means of the internal gas pressure or pressure blowing technique via channels provided in the mould, so that the required line is created there. The lines may be arranged on the outside and/or inside and parallel and/or at an angle to the tank walls.

In a fuel supply system with a main tank (,), with a splash pot (,), with a pump (,) fed from the splash pot and with connecting lines (,) for the pump, according to the invention the latter is arranged in the main tank (,) outside the splash pot (,) and is connected to the latter via at least one suction line (,) integrally formed fixedly onto an inner wall (,) of the main tank. It is particularly advantageous if that portion of the forward-run line (,) which is to be connected to the pump is also integrally formed fixedly onto the inner wall, because the pump can then be fluidically connected very simply and quickly by being plugged on. As a further option, the electric connection (,) of the pump can also be made in one operation with the fluidic contacting.

In the case of a filling device for a motor vehicle fuel tank, a distributing element extends from a filling nozzle to an anti-surge tower of the motor vehicle. When there is a low volume flow of fuel in the filling nozzle, the distributing element supplies all of the fuel to the anti-surge tower. When there is a large volume flow, the greater part of the fuel passes directly into the fuel tank. It is thereby ensured that during an initial filling or emergency filling with a jerrycan, virtually all of the fuel passes into the anti-surge tower.
