A magnetic field sensor for measuring a direct current includes a transducer formed of coils with superparamagnetic core in series; an excitation module generating an excitation current at an excitation frequency, via a midpoint coil, an excitation voltage generator and an excitation impedance. An analysis module includes an analysis impedance coupled to the midpoint coil, and an analyzer that analyzes the current passing through the analysis impedance to extract a component at an analysis frequency equal to an even multiple of the excitation frequency. The excitation impedance forms with the superparamagnetic coils a first series RLC circuit with a resonance frequency, which is substantially equal to the excitation frequency, and a second series RLC-type circuit with an analysis resonance frequency, which is substantially equal to the analysis frequency.

A method for detecting the open or closed state of a protection appliance in an electrical installation including a voltage detector upstream of the protection appliance and a voltage detector downstream thereof, in which the voltage data provided by the voltage detectors is used to obtain information regarding the presence or absence of voltage upstream and downstream of the protection appliance, a correlation is established between the voltage data, and it is determined whether the protection appliance is in an open state, in a closed state, in an abnormal state or in an undetermined state. The current data provided by the current detectors can also be used to determine the cause of the tripping of the protection appliance, and to thereby obtain a full, precise and real-time diagnostic for the operation of the electrical installation.

The photovoltaic installation being intended to supply an electric current (i), the method comprises the steps of measuring (e0) values representative of the electric current (i) supplied by the photovoltaic installation; adjusting (e2) a variable current jump threshold (s(ti)) according to measured values; detecting (e3) a current jump with an amplitude greater than a current jump threshold adjusted according to values measured before the jump; and detecting (e5) an electric arc based on the detection of a current jump.

Method and device for detecting an electric arc in a photovoltaic installation

A current sensor provided with an electrical coil () made in the form of a printed circuit. Its closed contour is inscribed within a rectangle delimiting a through window () for passing a primary conductor (). Method and device for detecting electrical arcing in a photovoltaic installation

Equipment () for measuring the energy consumption of branches (-N) of an electrical network () which comprises a single voltages measuring device () connected upstream of the branches of the network so as to measure the voltages of the network in a centralized manner, and several dedicated current measuring devices () connected to each branch of the network so as to measure the currents on the branches of the network. The measuring devices () are connected by network cable () allowing digital communication of the voltage measurements to the current measuring devices (), which comprises a processing unit () for calculating the energy consumption of the analyzed branch of the network. The voltage and current measurements are performed by sampling, and the sampling frequencies are compared and adjusted automatically so as to synchronize the current samples with the voltage samples.

A measuring device () comprising a current sensor () and a measuring unit () connected to each other by a connection cable (). The connection cable () comprises three pairs of conductors of which a first measurement pair () is arranged to transmit a signal representative of the current measured by the sensor (), a second power supply pair () is arranged to power electrically the sensor () and the measuring unit (), and a third communication pair () is arranged to transmit at least one complementary signal between the sensor () and the measuring unit (), such as an identification feature of the sensor allows the measuring unit to recognize automatically the sensor and provide an exploitable correlated value of the current measured by the sensor ().

A device for measuring the intensity of an electric current which has a simple and economical design and offers a high measurement dynamic compatible with combined measurement, protection and energy metering applications. The device () is insensitive to parasitic fields and to the position of the electric conductor to be measured, and that can be opened to facilitate placement thereof. The device () defines a closed path (C), about a conductor () for the circulation of the lines of magnetic field induced by the current to be measured, and the path is formed by two plates () having a high magnetic permeability separated by two air gaps (E) closed by two identical and opposed electric coils () for supplying a voltage proportional to the derivative of the intensity (I) of the current to be measured. The device () reduces the is compact so that it can be easily integrated into any type of electric appliance.
