A machine frame for a machine tool is disclosed having two longitudinal members running in a first direction and two transverse members connecting the longitudinal members and running in a second direction running transversely to the first direction, wherein the longitudinal members and the transverse members define a machining space for the machine tool, at least two, preferably at least four, first floor fastening units for the predominant transmission of forces in the first direction into a foundation, wherein the first floor fastening units are fastened to end regions of the longitudinal members, and at least two second floor fastening units for the predominant transmission of forces in the second direction into the foundation, wherein the second floor fastening units are fastened to at least one of the longitudinal members in its central region, wherein the at least one of the longitudinal members has a cross-sectional geometry for the predominant force transfer in the second direction.

Machine frame for a machine tool and machine tool

A laser machining tool is disclosed. The laser machining tool includes a machining device that has a movable carriage. A machining unit, which includes a machining head, is arranged on the movable carriage. The machining head is configured to direct a laser beam of laser light onto a workpiece to be machined. A flexible fibre cable for supplying the laser light from a laser light source is connected to the machining head. The machining unit can be moved linearly together with the machining head relative to the movable carriage. The flexible fibre cable is fixed to the machining unit with a first fixing means and fixed to the movable carriage with a second fixing means. The flexible fibre cable is freely movable for enabling a linear movement of the machining unit relative to the movable carriage in a predetermined guide plane between the first and second fixing means.

Laser machining tool

This disclosure relates to a workpiece support for a machine tool having at least two parallel carriers which are spaced apart from one another, define a cutting grate space and multiple cutting grate elements arranged in the cutting grate space at right angles to the carriers. Each carrier has a support area for the cutting grate elements extending towards the cutting grate space. At least two cutting grate elements, each having two support surfaces facing the carriers for resting on the support areas of the two carriers. The undersides of the at least two cutting grate elements remaining next to the support surfaces in the area of the support areas and are set back from the support surfaces so that the at least two cutting grate elements rest only with the support surfaces. The at least two cutting grate elements each have two fixing elements.
