A load stepping switch () for uninterrupted changeover between winding taps (n, n+1) on a control winding () comprises &#x2014;a changeover switch () that comprises a first, second and third changeover contact () and can adopt a first position, in which the first and third changeover contacts are connected, a second position, in which the second and third changeover contacts are connected, and a bridge position, in which the changeover contacts are connected; &#x2014;a first fixed contact () that can be connected to a first winding tap; &#x2014;a second fixed contact () that can be connected to a second winding tap; &#x2014;a first moving contact () that can optionally make contact with each of the fixed contacts; &#x2014;a second moving contact () that can optionally make contact with each of the fixed contacts; &#x2014;a main path () that connects the first moving contact to the first changeover contact; &#x2014;an auxiliary path () that connects the second moving contact to the second changeover contact via a current-limiting element (); &#x2014;a switching element () that is connected between the main path and the second changeover contact.

On-load tap changer and method of and system for operating same

The invention relates to a switching arrangement () with a pre-selector () for a power transformer () which has multiple windings (). The pre-selector is designed to optionally connect at least one first winding () to one of the two end contacts () of at least one second winding (). At least one first switch is arranged in the connection between the pre-selector () and the first winding (), thereby allowing the pre-selector to be switched in an arc-free manner and thus in a gas-free manner as well.

Switching system with preselector

The invention relates to a step switch, comprising a pre-selector and a fine selector. The invention is characterized in that the step switch has a connection () between the pre-selector and the fine selector (), at least one coupling switch () being arranged in said connection. A pre-selector can be switched in a largely gas-free manner by means of said switchable connection with the aid of the fine selector.
