The invention relates to a hydrodynamic torque converter having an impeller wheel, a turbine wheel and an oscillation damper which is accommodated in the converter housing, and a converter lockup clutch. Two damper stages are arranged here as a serial damper between the output hub of the torque converter and the converter lockup clutch, and a damper stage is arranged between the turbine wheel and the output hub. In order to improve the damping properties, a rotary oscillation absorber is additionally provided which is arranged between the dampers and is also connected to the turbine wheel in a rotationally fixed fashion.

Hydrodynamic torque converter

A centrifugal pendulum device which can be mounted in a rotatable manner about an axis of rotation, having a first pendulum mass unit, a first pendulum flange, and a second pendulum flange which is at least partially spaced apart from the first pendulum flange in an axial direction; the first pendulum mass unit is positioned axially between the first pendulum flange and the second pendulum flange, the first pendulum mass unit being coupled at least to the first and/or second pendulum flange so that it is movable to a limited extent; at least one third pendulum flange and a second pendulum mass unit are provided, the second pendulum mass unit being coupled at least to the third pendulum flange so that it is movable to a limited extent.

Centrifugal pendulum device and torsional vibration damper

A damper system which is supportable rotatably around an axis of rotation, having a first absorber device and a second absorber device. The first absorber device includes at least one first pendulum mass, a first coupling device and a first flange part. The first pendulum mass is coupled with the first flange part by means of the first coupling device. The first coupling device is designed to guide the first pendulum mass along a first oscillation path. The second absorber device is offset radially from the first absorber device. The second absorber device includes an absorber element. The absorber element is coupled with the first flange part.

Damper system

A turbine torsional vibration damper, in particular a simple torsional vibration damper, for a vehicle, preferably for a drivetrain of a motor vehicle, having a damper part for introducing a torque into the turbine torsional vibration damper and a damper part for extracting the torque from the torsional vibration damper, wherein a pendulum mass flange of a centrifugal pendulum device is rigidly coupled mechanically with a damper part of the turbine torsional vibration damper. A converter or a torque transmission device for a vehicle, in particular for a drivetrain of a motor vehicle, wherein the converter or torque transmission device has a turbine torsional vibration damper according to the invention.

Turbine torsional vibration damper, and converter and torque transmission device

A torsional vibration damper includes a pendulum flange which is rotatable around an axis of rotation, having a cutout, as well as two pendulum mass pairs which are movably attached to the pendulum flange, adjacent to each other in the circumferential direction, and an elastic element to damp mutual colliding of adjacent pendulum mass pairs. The pendulum mass pairs each comprise two pendulum masses which are positioned opposite each other relative to the pendulum flange, and a bolt which runs through the cutout and connects the pendulum masses to each other axially. In the area of the cutout an elastic element is attached to each of the two bolts, which is set up to collide with the other elastic element in the circumferential direction.

Torsional vibration damper

A torsional vibration damper for a drivetrain of a motor vehicle having a substantially discoidal centrifugal flange and a plurality of centrifugal pendulum-type absorbers. Each centrifugal pendulum-type absorber includes a first pendulum mass and a second pendulum mass. The first pendulum mass is arranged above a first surface of the pendulum flange, and the second pendulum mass is arranged above a second surface of the pendulum flange. The first pendulum mass and the second pendulum mass are firmly connected to each other by means of at least two spacing bolts in each case. The pendulum flange has a plurality of cutouts in which the spacing bolts are guided. A second spacing bolt of a first centrifugal pendulum-type absorber and a first spacing bolt of a second centrifugal pendulum-type absorber are guided in at least one first cutout.

A centrifugal pendulum mechanism that includes a pendulum flange and pendulum masses which are fastened on both sides of the pendulum flange by a spacing bolt accommodated in a curved cutout of the pendulum flange to form a pair of pendulum masses, where the pair of pendulum masses is guided relative to the pendulum flange by the at least two rollers and can be pivoted restrictively because of a stop, where the rollers are accommodated in curved guide tracks in the pendulum masses and in complementary curved guide tracks in the pendulum flange and can be rolled, and at least two pairs of pendulum masses are arranged so as to be circumferentially adjacent to each other.

Centrifugal pendulum mechanism

The present invention broadly comprises a stator and clutch assembly in a torque converter. The stator has a segment radially disposed between stator blades and a stator axis. The one-way clutch has a plate connected to a hub. The segment forms a portion of the clutch and the stator is axially displaceable to control operation of the clutch. A displacement element urges the stator in a first axial direction. The stator is arranged to move in a second axial direction, opposite the first axial direction, in response to pressure from fluid in the torque converter. In some aspects, the displacement element is selected from the group consisting of a coil spring and a wave spring. In some aspects, the one-way clutch is arranged to disengage when the stator is sufficiently displaced in the first direction and to engage when the stator is sufficiently displaced in the second direction.

A rotary vibration damper with an input part and an output part having a centrifugal force pendulum disposed on a flange part of the input part or output part, with several mass parts distributed over the circumference of the flange part, and disposed on two sides of the flange part, in raceways of the flange part, and limitedly displaceable in the circumferential direction, and in the radial direction by which two mass parts are interconnected respectively on opposite sides of the flange part.

A damper unit having at least two series-connected damper units arranged offset from each other in a radial direction, each including two damper parts that are coupled to each other by means of spring units and a speed-adaptive absorber which is at least indirectly coupled to the connection between the two dampers, wherein the speed-adaptive absorber is arranged between the spring units of both dampers in a radial direction.

A hydrodynamic torque converter having a pump wheel accommodated in a housing, a turbine wheel, which can be driven by the pump wheel, and a torsional vibration damper, where the torsional vibration damper has a damper input drive component and a damper output drive component, which can rotate to a limited degree with respect to the damper input drive component to oppose the action of at least two damper stages which are operatively connected in series and which each have at least one energy storage element, where the torsional vibration damper also has an intermediate damper component, which is arranged operatively between the damper stages and which directly or indirectly accommodates a vibration absorber, where the energy storage elements of the damper stages are substantially arranged on a common radius, where the vibration absorber is arranged adjacent to the torsional vibration damper in the axial dimension.

Power transmission device

A device for damping vibrations comprising at least two coaxially arranged damper parts rotatable relative to each other to a limited extent in the circumferential direction, coupled by torque transmitting means and damping coupling means, which exhibit at least one energy accumulator unit, and forming the impingement areas for the energy accumulator units. At least one damper part forms a guide channel for the energy accumulator units. The individual impingement area on the damper part forming the guide channel for the energy accumulator units is formed by a stop element, connected in a torsion proof manner at least indirectly to the damper part and forms the abutment faces in the guide channel in the circumferential direction. The abutment face is capable of supporting the energy accumulator unit on both sides of the impingement area on the energy accumulator unit and is a part of the other damper part.
