One or more example embodiments of the present invention relates in one aspect to a computer-implemented method for providing a configuration information for a laser guidance system for a medical intervention, comprising receiving laser projection data regarding a laser projection geometry of the laser guidance system; receiving 3D model data regarding a surface, the surface being located within an effective range of the laser guidance system; calculating shadowing data regarding a shadowing effect of the surface on the laser projection geometry based on the laser projection data and the 3D model data; selecting the configuration information based on the shadowing data, the configuration information being indicative of a configuration of the laser guidance system for visualizing a planned path of an instrument for the medical intervention; and providing the configuration information.

Computed tomography (CT) measurement data of the patient is acquired using a CT device having a quantum counting X-ray detector, and the CT measurement data is processed to generate result data, considering a specific information content of the CT measurement data resulting from the use of the quantum counting X-ray detector in acquiring the CT measurement data. The at least one slice image data set of the image data set is generated based upon the plurality of projection data sets acquired.

The invention relates to a system for determining and/or monitoring a state variable of a measurement object comprising an analysis sensor, a control apparatus and a read-out apparatus. A method is for providing a medical image of a patient. The method includes acquiring medical measurement data of the patient, including a set of multiple sampled state combinations; a first state space, including first physiological states, and a second state space, including second physiological states, together spanning a third state space. Each of the combinations includes a state from the first and second state spaces, and the third state space includes the set of combinations. The method further includes generating a medical image of the patient using the medical measurement data acquired, including a further state combination; the further state combination including a state from the first and second state space, the third state space including the further state combination, and the further state combination lying within the third state space outside the set of combinations. Finally, the method includes providing the medical image of the patient generated.

During generation of the raw data set, at least one part of the examination object is sampled together with at least one part of the reference object. A method is for metal artifact reduction in CT image data, the CT image data including multiple 2D projection images acquired using different projection geometries and suitable to reconstruct a 3D image data set of a volume of an imaged object. In an embodiment, the method includes a metal artifact reduction process including at least, acquiring, using a multi-energy CT technique, energy-resolved CT image data associated with multiple energy ranges. For determining the allocation rule dependent upon the spectral parameter, calibration data derived from the measured calibration dataset describing different receiving spectra is used.

Providing an item of conversion information relating to an image dataset

A method is for the reconstruction of an image data set from projection images of an examination object recorded at different projection directions with a computed tomography apparatus. In an embodiment, the method includes establishing an item of contour information describing a contour of at least one of the examination object and the additional object; enhancing projection data of the projection images via forward projection in regions in which at least one of the examination object and the additional object was not acquired; and reconstructing the image data set based upon the projection data enhanced. The examination object and the additional object are acquired from sensor data of at least one camera. Finally, an item of sensor information at least partially describing at least one of the is of the examination object and of the additional object being established and used for establishing the contour information.
