A fan has an external rotor motor with a motor section and an electronics section. The motor section and the electronics section are arranged axially adjacent to each other along the axis of rotation. The fan, when operated as intended, generates, via the fan wheel, a pressure difference between its suction side, which is preferably associated with the rotor, and its pressure side, which is preferably associated with the motor electronics. A continuous cooling duct runs within the external rotor motor from a pressure-side inflow opening, at least along sections of the rotor, to a suction-side outflow opening. An exclusively passive cooling air flow through the cooling duct can be generated in operation by the pressure difference generated by the fan wheel.

The invention relates to an inlet nozzle for a radial fan, having a plurality of flow sections defined over the wall of the inlet nozzle (), as viewed in the direction of flow, said flow sections comprising at least: an inlet section () which has an inlet opening (), a perturbation section () directly adjoining the inlet section (), and an outlet section directly adjoining the perturbation section (), wherein the flow cross-section of the inlet nozzle () decreases in the inlet section (), and wherein the perturbation section () that is formed between the inlet section () and the outlet section () is designed as cylindrical over its entire axial length and extends parallel to the rotational axis of the inlet nozzle (), so that the flow cross-section of the inlet nozzle () is constant in the perturbation section ().

The invention relates to a flow-conducting grille designed as a pre-conducting grille for arranging on a suction region of a fan, wherein the flow-conducting grille has a grille web structure about an axial center line, which grille web structure comprises radial webs spaced apart in the circumferential direction and coaxial circumferential webs spaced apart in the radial direction and an outer ring, wherein an inflow side of the flow-conducting grille extends flat and parallel to a radial plane of the flow-conducting grille.

Fan flow grid

An axial fan, having an inner electric motor and a fan wheel connected to the electric motor so as to rotate with it and has a plurality of wheel blades defining a blade length and extend outwardly from the electric motor. A fan housing surrounds the fan wheel. The fan housing is connected to the motor via holding struts which extend to the outside from the motor to the fan housing. A motor housing is provided on the motor behind the fan wheel and accommodates a motor electronics system. A flow duct having an inflow opening and an outflow opening is fastened to the motor behind the fan wheel such that the inflow opening is arranged offset to the outside with respect to the outflow opening. The outflow opening is oriented in such a way that an air flow which exits the outlet opening is guided onto the motor housing.

Axial fan with additional flow channel

A motor, comprising an electronics housing, a stator having a stator bushing, and a rotor. The motor can be fastened to a fastening wall by means of the stator bushing. The motor according to the invention has an air conducting element and an air conveying element. The air conveying element is connected to the rotor in a rotationally fixed manner. The air conducting element surrounds the stator bushing and forms a flow space between the air conducting element and an outer circumference of the stator bushing. The flow space is open on the side of the electronics housing in the direction of the fastening wall through at least one flow gap. The air conducting element opens with an intake opening via a sealing gap in a rotor-side throughflow opening of the air conducting element.

Active cooling of a motor

The present invention relates to a compact fan, comprising a fan wheel, in particular a radial fan wheel (), which is fastened on a rotor of an external rotor motor (). The fan wheel () is supported between a front plate () having an air inlet opening (), which is central, and a motor mount (). The front plate () and the motor mount () are connected to one another via multiple spacers (), which are disposed around the circumference. The front plate () and the motor mount () are formed as plastic or metal spray parts. The spacers () are formed as plastic or metal parts entirely or partially in one piece to the front plate () and/or the motor mount ().

Compact fan

A radial fan wheel arrangement includes a circular bottom plate () and a circular cover plate () with a central inflow opening (), as well as wheel blades () running between the bottom plate () and the cover plate (). Pocket-shaped recesses () are configured at least on one side of a plate surface in the space between the wheel blades () in an outer edge area of the cover plate () or the bottom plate () or both. At least one counterweight () is mounted on at least one of the two plates () on a plate edge in an area of the pocket-shaped recesses ().
