A floor structure for an aircraft includes a rail that defines a recess having an opening and a bottom and designed to receive one or more attachment elements, a covering element arranged above a segment of the recess so as to provide a complementary bearing surface above the opening, and a cellular supporting structure having a first end that rests on the bottom of the recess, and a second end supporting the covering element. Thus, the covering element can be sufficiently thin to avoid or limit the formation of steps at the surface of the floor structure.

A container assembly and aircraft fuselage for air transport of freight. The container assembly includes a spacer layer formed of malleable material. The spacer layer is positioned between and in contact with a bottom plate of the container and the floor of an aircraft. The aircraft fuselage for the freight transport is equipped with a floor adapted to receive and bear a load. A spacer layer integral with the floor is positioned between the floor and the load. The spacer layer is formed of a malleable material.

A method for assembling a part of a metal material and a part of a composite material, the junction of the two parts being achieved through a fastener having a substantially constant section and received in a first hole formed in the part of a metal material and a second hole formed in the part of a composite material. According to the disclosed embodiments and before assembling the aforementioned parts, the method includes: an expansion step for generating a field of compression stresses at the periphery of the first hole and locally in the material constituting the part of a metal material using an expansion tool; a single boring step for making the first hole and the second hole with a diameter &#xd8;substantially larger than the diameter of the fastener in order to leave a gap between the inner walls of the holes and the outer surface of the fastener; and an assembling step for placing the fastener inside the holes for maintaining together the metal part and the composite part.

The invention relates to an aircraft fuselage section comprising several longitudinal strengthening beams attached to the fuselage section lower panel and several longitudinal rails intended for supporting the floor boards, characterized by at least one crosspiece laid transversally between two strengthening beams and supporting one longitudinal rail, said crosspiece said crosspiece being mounted swiveling on the fuselage section lower panel in order to permit the rotation of the crosspiece around a longitudinal axis.
