The invention relates to a hemostatic composition in powder form comprising collagen of the fibrillar type comprising a content of fibrous collagen and/or fibrillar collagen of at least 70% by weight relative to the total weight of the collagen, and at least one monosaccharide, and optionally, at least one compound selected from coagulation factors and glycosaminoglycans. The invention further relates to a method for preparing such composition, and to a unit comprising such composition and a spraying device.

The invention relates to novel collagen materials and, specifically, collagen membranes, tubes and threads. Said materials combine enhanced properties of resilience and strength. The invention also relates to a method for preparing collagen materials using acid fibrous collagen comprising coagulation and, optionally, cross-linking of the collagen in the presence of ammonia gas.

The present invention relates to a composite matrix that includes a reinforcing textile portion having two surfaces coated over at least 90% of the respective surface areas thereof, by means of at least a first layer including at least one resorbable macro-molecule and having a collagen content of between 50 and 100 wt % relative to the total weight of the first layer; the invention also relates to a prosthesis including such a matrix and to a method for preparing said matrix.

Collagen derivatives, process for producing them and their application

The present invention relates to a crosslinkable modified collagen which is soluble in water and/or in aprotic polar organic solvents and which contains free or substituted thiol groups carried by residues of cysteine or derivatives thereof, at least some of the residues being fixed to the collagen via spacer compounds. It further relates to processes for the production of the collagen. Applications are adhesives, biomaterials for prostheses, implants, or other medical articles.
