Device for handling value documents

A device for handling notes of value including a transport unit for transport of the notes of value in a transport direction along a transport path, and an aligning unit for alignment of the notes of value. The device further includes a sensor arranged upstream of the aligning unit for determining at least one feature of the notes of value, and a control unit that controls the aligning unit such that the aligning unit aligns each note of value depending on the determined expression of the feature of the note of value in a preset first target alignment or at least in a preset second target alignment that is different from the first target alignment.

Method for handling valuable documents having an aligning unit for aligning banknotes and checks

The invention relates to a device () for handling notes of value. The device comprises a first module () that in an operating state is electrically conductive connected via a first electrical wire to a power supply unit () and electrically conductive connected via a second electrical wire to a second module (). In a maintenance state the first module () is neither electrically conductive connected to the first electrical wire nor electrically conductive connected to the second electrical wire.

The invention relates to a device for handling notes of value, comprising at least one shaft () on which at least one transport element () for transporting the notes of value is arranged. The transport element () comprises a first segment () and a second segment () separated from the first segment () in an unmounted state. In a mounted state the first segment () and the second segment () are firmly connected to each other and enclose the shaft ().

The invention relates to an apparatus for aligning at least one voucher (to). The apparatus has first and second transport elements (toto) for transporting the voucher (to) on a transport plane () of a transport path. At least one first rotating transport element (toto) generates a driving force acting on the voucher (to) obliquely to the center axis () lying on the transport plane () of the transport path. At least one second rotating transport element (toto) generates a driving force acting on the voucher (to) parallel to the center axis (). Apparatus for aligning vouchers

A device for the data processing with magnetic information carriers (2) includes a read-write head (4), where a relative motion occurs between the information carrier and the read-write head (4) during processing by driving a slide (5) with a motor (6). In order to avoid distortion generated by mechanical errors of the device during reading of the data, it is disclosed that the drive connection between the slide (5) and the motor (6) is free from play in axial direction and that the read-write head (4) is springingly adjustable with a holder (14), free from play in axial direction and perpendicular to the surface (2a) of the information carrier.
