A blow molding valve () is provided. The blow molding valve () is adapted to be positioned within a blow molding valve block () including a control pressure chamber (), a process gas chamber (), and a piston bore (). The blow molding valve () includes a control piston () movable within the control pressure chamber () and a portion of the piston bore (), the control piston () being in fluid communication with a control pressure supply. A diaphragm () is provided and positioned between the process gas chamber () and the control piston () such that the diaphragm provides a fluid tight barrier between the process gas chamber () and the control piston ().
