A zipper closure comprises first and second rows of plastic teeth formed on first and second bands, each said band having an edge bead, said teeth having free ends and opposed back ends fixed to said bands. In said teeth close to said back ends of said teeth decorative stones are formed, each of said decorative stones having a tapered portion with a tip, said tip being directed to said respective band, and lying closer to said respective band as a tangent plane on said edge bead of said band, which tangent plane lies parallel to said band.

A zipper closure includes teeth having decorative stones. The teeth engage each other by respective support surfaces, the extension (h) of which in the direction of the zipper closure is at most as large as the largest diameter (D) of the decorative stones.

The invention relates to a zipper closure comprising a first and second row of teeth formed on a first and second band, each band comprising an edge bead or web, said teeth having free ends, each of which with a channel formed therein, when said zipper closure being closed said free ends of said first row of teeth extending into an area of attachment of said teeth of said second row of teeth and vice versa, whereby said channels receive said edge beads or webs, the zipper closure further comprising a slider with a top cover plate and a bottom cover plate connected by a cross-piece, said slider having a wider front end and a narrower back end, said cross-piece having a front end directed towards said wider front end of said slider and a back end directed towards said narrower back end of said slider. According to a first aspect of the invention said cross-piece is comprising a tapered projection extending beyond said back end of said cross-piece and directed towards said narrower back end of said slider, whereby on opening of the zipper closure said projection engages in said channels of said teeth and an outwardly directed force is exerted onto said teeth. According to a second aspect of the invention said front end of said cross-piece directed towards said wider front end of said slider is converging to an edge.

An account is given of a process for making separate ornament stones with a heat-activated or thermoplastic adhesive coating, in the case of which a number of ornament stones are adhesively joined to a heat-activated adhesive foil and the single stones, with the heat-activated adhesive foil sticking to them, are freed from the compound structure made up of the separate stones and the foil. With this process single ornament stones may readily and simply be coated with a heat-activated adhesive of a true desired thickness where it is needed on the stones.
