A multi-part medical marker () comprising a marker core consisting of at least two corresponding parts () and comprising a detectable surface, wherein the surface is substantially formed from a detectable coating () which is applied to the surface () of the parts () of the marker core (). An apparatus for producing a medical marker comprising a marker core (″) and a detectable surface, comprises: —a first feeding device () for providing the marker core (); —an application device () for applying a detectable layer to the surface () of the marker core (); and—a transport device () for transporting the marker core () within the apparatus.

Multi-part marker

The present invention relates to a method for producing a multi-part medical marker () comprising a marker core () consisting of at least two corresponding parts () and comprising a detectable surface, said method comprising the following steps: &#x2014;providing the parts () of the marker core (); &#x2014;applying a detectable layer () to the surface () of the parts () of the marker core (); and &#x2014;joining the parts () of the marker core () together to form a marker (). The present invention also relates to a multi-part medical marker comprising a marker core consisting of at least two corresponding parts () and comprising a detectable surface, wherein the surface is substantially formed from a detectable coating () which is applied to the surface () of the parts () of the marker core (). The present invention also relates to an apparatus for producing a medical marker comprising a marker core (&#x2033;) and a detectable surface, comprising: &#x2014;a first feeding device () for providing the marker core (); &#x2014;an application device () for applying a detectable layer to the surface () of the marker core (); and &#x2014;a transport device () for transporting the marker core () within the apparatus.
