A Method of correcting a multi-path absorbance measuring system is suggested. The multi-path absorbance measuring system has a plurality of n measuring path: The method is executed by correcting the signal of the measuring paths based on a determined linearization function.

Multi-path flow cell correction

A fluidic system is provided which is adapted to perform optical analysis of a fluid. The system comprises a first capillary, at least one waveguide which is adapted to guide light and at least one second capillary. The first capillary comprises at least one first opening for receiving an end of the at least one first waveguide and it comprises furthermore at least one second opening for receiving a first end of the at least one second capillary, whereby a fluid communication between the first and the second capillaries is provided. The end of the at least one waveguide is arranged to emit light into the at least one second capillary.

An apparatus for the recognition of exchangeable parts in an analytical measuring instrument or in an analytical measurement system with several analytical devices, which contain exchangeable parts has identification modules each attached to an exchangeable part, and transmit-receive devices which can receive information signals from an identification module and send information signals to an identification module, and a control device which evaluates the information from an identification module. The control device can cause a message to be displayed on a display device, if the information read out from an identification module does not fulfill certain conditions, for example with regard to the quality of the corresponding part.
