An electrical connector assembly is disclosed having a socket-shaped housing with a cable receiving end and an opposing support facing end, a plug connector receiving space, and a flange positioned on the support facing end. A cable collar is positioned in the plug connector receiving space and supported by the housing, and has at least one cable receiving space. At least one cable is secured in the cable receiving space.

A connector comprises a connector face, a latch, and a CPA receiving space. A plurality of contact receiving spaces of the connector are open to the connector face. The latch engages a mating connector when the connector is inserted into the mating connector along an insertion direction. The CPA receiving space is disposed adjacent an inner side of the latch and receives a position securing member. At least one contact receiving space is disposed between the connector face and the CPA receiving space.

A connector position assurance device for an electrical connector comprises a body and a locking lance. The body has a body recess. The locking lance extends along a length of the body and has a fixed end fixed to the body and a lance head opposite the fixed end. The invention relates to a plug (), with a first plug-and-socket connector () and at least a second plug-and-socket connector () in which the first plug-and-socket connector () can be received, and with a surrounding housing () in which the second plug-and-socket connector () can be received non-displaceably in at least one securing direction (A). In order to facilitate the assembly of a plug-and-socket connector arrangement (), provision is made according to the invention for the surrounding housing () to have a securing member () which is designed to be able to be brought into engagement with the second plug-and-socket connector () and the first plug-and-socket connector () received in the second plug-and-socket connector (), and by means of which the first () and second () plug-and-socket connectors can be fixed relative to the surrounding housing (). The invention relates to a terminal for connection with an electrical mating connector, and having a catch spring projecting therefrom for latching the terminal in a housing. The terminal includes a catch spring projecting from the terminal and having a cross-section having a first and second area, the catch spring is assembled with regard to its cross-section over substantially its entire extent in the direction of a longitudinal axis of the terminal. The first and second area are arranged bent relative to one another by a transitional area or are connected together in such a manner that they merge continuously.

A connector for a ribbon cable is described having two part plates which are preferably connected to one another via a connection piece. The part plates are therefore preferably integral in design. In the region of the connection piece there are contact slots made in the part plates. Preferably the part plates can be produced in the form of continuous plates and cut as required into the desired width from the continuous ribbon. For assembling the connector a ribbon cable is inserted between the part plates and subsequently the part plates are folded on to one another by means of a simple folding operation and preferably permanently connected to one another by fastening elements.
