With the aim of addressing the problem of maintaining a state in which a plurality of connectors are securely mated, the present disclosure teaches a connecting structure S that is a structure for connecting a first connectorand a second connector. The first connectorcomprises a first housingprovided around the first connection terminaland having at least one opening, and the second connectorcomprises: a second housingwhich is provided around a second connection terminaland has an engaging portionwhich engages with an openingformed in the first housingin a state in which the first connection terminaland the second connection terminalare mated and said second housingis mated with the first housing; and a locking memberwhich is able to move in a longitudinal direction of the connecting structure S and prevents displacement of the engaging portionin a direction of disengagement from the openingin a state in which said locking memberis pushed in up to a predetermined position on the first connectorside.

Connecting structure and connector

An insertion-type connector having a housing and at least two contact elements fixed within the housing, which are designed for connection to two cores of a twisted-pair cable, wherein the housing forms a guide by which the cores are fixed in a twist which continues the twist of the twisted-pair cable. A system having such an insertion-type connector and a twisted-pair cable is taught, and a method of producing the same.

A plug connector assembly having a first plug connector and a second plug connector, wherein the plug connectors each have at least two contact elements, wherein the contact elements of the first plug connector make contact with the contact elements of the second plug connector at contact points in the plug-connected state of the plug connector assembly, such that the contact elements of the two plug connectors are designed in the form of contact lugs which project into a free space and can be elastically deflected.
