An airbag covering for use in a motor vehicle has a support () with an airbag deployment opening () that is closed by an airbag cover. A decorative material () is connected to the support () by an adhesive layer () in at least one region () adjacent to the airbag deployment opening (). To simplify the production of the airbag covering, the support () has, in the region () adjacent to the airbag deployment opening (), at least one depression (-) that reduces an adhesive force between the support () and the decorative material () in a targeted manner.

Airbag covering

A glove compartment () has a housing () and a cover () that is shiftable relative to the housing () to open or close a storage tray. A locking unit () either prevents or permits movement between cover () and housing (). The locking unit () has a locking clip () mounted pivotably on the housing () and has free ends () that interact with locking elements () of the cover (). The locking unit () also has an actuating element () mounted on the housing (). In a first state, the actuating element () transfers the locking clip () into an unlocking position, and, in a second state, the locking clip () is transferable into a locking position. The locking unit () has an activation element () for the actuating element () to transfer the actuating element () between the first state and the second state.

Glove compartment

A service unit for use in replenishing and/or maintaining service fluids in a vehicle has a unit, such as a driving engine, with at least one service element, such as fill nozzles, and a collecting pan that at least partially encompasses the service element. To ensure the convenient replenishment or maintenance of service fluids, a protective drip cover is attached to the collecting pan. The protective drip cover can be shifted from a non-deployed position to a protective position, in which it projects at least partially beyond the collecting pan.
