A cut-length indicating device for a portable power tool comprises at least one indicating unit including at least one movably mounted indicating element configured to indicate at least one position of a cut edge of a machining tool in dependence on a set cut depth of the machining tool, and at least one position setting unit configured to move the indicating element into a position that is dependent on a cut-depth setting of the machining tool. The cut-length indicating device further comprises at least one adjusting unit configured to adapt at least one maximum setting movement distance of the indicating element to at least one machining-tool parameter of the machining tool.

Cut-length indicating device

A cut length indicating device for a portable machine tool includes at least one indication unit. The indication unit has at least one movably mounted indication element that is configured to indicate at least one position of a cutting edge of a machining tool on a work piece to be machined with reference to a set cutting depth of the machining tool. The indication element further has a cutting edge indication line, which runs at least substantially transversely to a movement plane of the indication element in order to indicate the position of the cutting edge in at least one operating state.

A cut-length indicating device for a hand power tool includes at least one guide unit configured to moveably guide at least one movably mounted and electrically operated indicating element. The device also includes at least one electric power supply unit configured to supply electric current to the at least one indicating element.
