The invention relates to a device for neutralizing an electric switching unit. One or several power poles, each of which is provided with movable contacts separable form fixed contacts are actuatable between opened and closed positions by an actuator for switching-on an electric charge. A mechanical actuating device interacts with the movable contacts. It is used for actuating a device for neutralizing the electric switching unit by switching-off the control electric circuit thereof when the wear degree of pellets is greater than a predetermined threshold. The control circuit is switched-off, for example, by cutting a wire thereof. An electric switching unit is provided with the device.

A power generation device that includes an excitation coil with a central opening, and a magnetic circuit extending through the central opening of the coil and including at least one permanent magnet and a plurality of ferromagnetic members arranged in a fixed portion and two mobile portions. The two mobile portions are mounted on two parallel rotary axes and can each assume two positions. The device further includes a mechanism rotating the two mobile portions between the two positions thereof so as to create two states of the magnetic circuit, i.e. a first state in which a magnetic flow flows through the coil in one direction and a second state in which a magnetic flow flows through the coil in the opposite direction.

An electronic control device for a switch unit, which includes an electromagnetic actuator having a control coil powered by an excitation current for closing a power electrical circuit. The electronic control device includes a storage unit for storing at least one coil control profile which contains a plurality of values representative of the excitation current as a function of respective points of time. A drive unit is connected to the storage unit, and receives at its input an external close command and controls at its output the excitation current at respective points of time from the receipt of the external close command to follow the plurality of excitation current values of said control profile during the closing of the power circuit. The drive unit operates in open loop mode, without using information relating to the switch unit that includes at least a measurement of an excitation current at the control coil.

An electric switching device of which each power pole includes a movable bridge equipped with at least one movable contact that co-operates with at least one fixed contact of the pole between open and closed positions. The switching device includes at least one approach actuator&#x2014;bistable or of Voice Coil type&#x2014;acting on the movable bridges to distance and bring together the movable contacts of the movable bridges and the fixed contacts. Each pole includes a force actuator, e.g., piezoelectric, to establish contact pressure or contact switching, without the use of a mechanical restoring device.
