A power supply with a DC-DC converter and a switching converter comprises an intermediate circuit and at least one output switching regulator. The intermediate circuit has an intermediate circuit voltage, and is connected to a supply voltage via the DC-DC converter. The at least one output switching regulator is connected to the intermediate circuit, and configured to supply, on the output side, a regulated output voltage.

Modular DC power supply with independent output converters

A power supply unit having a circuit for uninterrupted power supply comprises a first DC-DC converter arranged on the input side, at least one output configured for outputting an output DC voltage, and at least one first output switching controller. A DC link is arranged between the first DC-DC converter and the at least one output switching controller for regulating the at least one output DC voltage on the output side. Clocked power supply unit with galvanic isolation

A power supply unit comprises at least one first converter unit and a second converter unit. The at least one first converter unit is controlled with a first controller and supplies at a first output at least one of a first output voltage that is regulated using a first voltage regulator and an output current that is regulated using a first current regulator. The second converter unit is controlled by a second controller and supplies at a second output at least one of an output voltage that is regulated using the second voltage regulator and an output current that is regulated using a second current regulator. The first and second outputs are connected in parallel for providing a higher output power, and at least one controller includes a supervision unit for recognizing an output-side parallel connection.

A power supply device for redundantly supplying power to a load comprises a first supply unit, a second supply unit, a first DC-DC converter, a second DC-DC converter, a first output switching controller, and a second output switching controller. The first and second supply units are interconnected. The first output switching controller is connected on the load side of the first DC-DC converter, and the second output switching controller is connected on the load side of the second DC-DC converter. The outputs of the output switching controllers are interconnected.

Modularly redundant DC-DC power supply arrangement having outputs that can be connected in parallel

A converter for converting an input-side alternating current into an output-side DC current, with a power factor correction being provided, wherein the converter comprises a transformer having at least two serially arranged primary windings, a first switch is used to switch a storage capacitor unit in series with a first primary winding to the alternating current in a clocked manner via rectification elements and a second primary winding is switchable to the storage capacitor unit in a clocked manner by a second switch.

Converter with power factor correction

A flux converter for converting an input-side alternating current into an output-side DC current, wherein a power factor correction is provided and the flux converter comprises a transformer having at least two serially arranged primary windings and a secondary winding wound in same direction. Power supply with a switch converter

A capacitive load is controlled by charging and respectively discharging by way of a load current, which is allowed to oscillate between a maximum default and a minimum default. The maximum default increases monotonously in a first step, remains essentially constant in a second step, and decreases monotonously in a third step during a charging process. The minimum default decreases monotonously in a first step, remains essentially constant in a second step, and increases monotonously in a third step during a discharging process. A variable temporal overlap of the third step of the charging process and the first step of the subsequent discharging process is provided to set a required degree of charging. This results in a high level of resolution and reproducibility of the control.

Method and device for controlling a capacitive load

To simplify reliable detection of operating faults in a control unit for operating an electrical component (for example, a fuel injector), an end stage is provided on the output side and is provided with a first line section and a second line section for supplying current in a synchronized manner to an electrical consumer which can be connected to the two line sections via an external line pair. A detection coil configuration is provided for detecting operating faults on the basis of an evaluation of a current that is induced at the detection coil configuration. The detection coil configuration is flowed through by a magnetic flux that is composed of magnetic flow components which are caused by the current flows in the two line sections, and wherein mutual compensation of the magnetic flow components is provided in a normal mode.

Controller for operating at least one fuel injector of an internal combustion engine

A piezoelectric actuator on an injection valve is controlled by application of a control curve, on which the maximum amplitudes for a current for controlling the actuator are given. A slowly rising or falling charge course at the beginning or end of a charging or discharging process and hence a linearly controllable charge level can thus be achieved over time. An overdriving of the actuator can thus be prevented.

Method and device for control of a capacitive actuator

A circuit is provided for charging and discharging a plurality of capacitive actuators, which can be produced with little component outlay and minimizes power loss. The circuit has a charge capacitor, which is charged to a charge voltage predefined in relation to a reference potential, and charge circuits for charging one of the capacitive actuators in each instance which are connected parallel to the charge capacitor and in each of which one of the capacitive actuators is disposed in a series circuit with a choke and a selector/charge switch. The charge circuits have a common charge circuit section containing the choke. Discharge circuits are provided for discharging one of the capacitive actuators in each instance, which are connected parallel to the series circuits formed by the choke and the capacitive actuators and a discharge switch. The discharge circuits having a common discharge circuit section containing the discharge switch.

Circuit configuration for charging and discharging a plurality of capacitive actuators

A circuit configuration for generating a control signal for an engine control unit, designed to control at least one fuel injector of an internal combustion engine, enables an improved control signal course during the control of the injectors. The configuration includes: a counter device, to which a predefined clock signal can be supplied, for providing a time-dependent digital counter signal, based on the counting of the clock signal; a memory unit, in which the digital counter signal is entered, for storing a series of digital control signal values and for the successive issue of individual control signal values from the series of control signal values, in accordance with the counter signal; and a digital-to-analog converter for converting the issued digital control signal values into the analog control signal for the engine control unit.
