A screw and nut linear drive assembly includes a housing, a screw within the housing, an electric motor for rotating the screw, a nut which is driven, when the screw is rotated, to move linearly in a longitudinal direction coinciding with the screw axis, and an axial force transfer arrangement to transfer force from the nut to a push rod to be connected to a member to be actuated by the assembly. The transfer arrangement includes a sequential arrangement of a first and a second axial force transferring component in force transmitting contact that are configured such that first contact points between the first and second axial force transferring components define a first axis (in a plane perpendicular to the longitudinal direction, about which the second axial force transferring component is capable of tilting with respect to the first axial force transferring component to reduce torque transfer to the nut).

Screw and nut linear drive assembly

A gear shift actuator includes a linear drive assembly having a supported rotary member that is axially unmovable, an electric motor for rotating the rotary member, and a driven component engaged by the rotary member to transmit rotary movement into a linear axial movement of the driven component to drive a shift fork between a neutral and a first gear engaged position. The assembly includes wherein the rotary member has a hollow cylindrical sleeve having a first cam follower and the driven component has a first barrel cam that receives the cam follower and is supported in the sleeve by a central rod to be slidably axially moveable but locked against rotational movements. The supported central rod is also axially moveable but locked against rotational movements and carries a second end stop at a distance to the first barrel cam and is configured to be linked to a shift fork.

Gear shift actuator

A pneumatic clutch actuator is described herein. The pneumatic clutch actuator includes a piston housing and a piston slidably received within the piston housing and configured to selectively change a clutch state between an engaged state and a disengaged state. The piston includes a self-adjustment mechanism that is configured to adjust an axial length of the piston. The self-adjustment mechanism includes a position locking assembly that includes a locking member and a positioning member. The locking member includes a plurality of locking flanges spaced along an outer surface of the locking member. The positioning member includes a plurality of positioning slots that are spaced along the positioning member. The position locking assembly is positionable between an unlocked state with the locking member spaced a distance from the positioning member, and a locked state with at least one locking flange inserted into a corresponding positioning slot.

Pneumatic clutch actuator with self-adjustment mechanism

An electric axle for a vehicle including a first support member having a first end, a second end and an intermediate portion supporting a first axle receiver, and a second support member including a first end portion, a second end portion and an intermediate section supporting a second axle receiver. A torsion member extends between the first support member and the second support member. A first drive unit including a first transmission is mounted to the first support member, and a first electric motor is operatively connected to the first transmission. A second drive unit including a second transmission mounted to the second support member, and a second electric motor is operatively connected to the second transmission.
