The present invention relates to an upright vacuum cleaner having a main longitudinal extension, comprising a housing provided with a cavity, which cavity is formed between a bottom portion, and a frame portion, and a dust container comprising a wall and having two lateral sides, wherein the dust container is arranged in the cavity, and wherein the frame portion comprises at least two support bars arranged substantially in the longitudinal direction of the vacuum cleaner, one along each lateral side of the dust container, such that the at least two support bars contribute to the rigidity of the vacuum cleaner while a major portion of the wall of the dust container remains visible.

Vacuum cleaner () of stick or upright type, which vacuum cleaner () comprises a housing (), a nozzle () with an air inlet (), a dust separation chamber (), a fan unit () and at least one air outlet, whereby the fan unit () is adapted to create an air flow in a flow path extending from the air inlet () via the dust separation chamber () to the air outlet, and whereby the housing () comprises two main separate parts () connectable to each other, of which one part () comprises the dust separation chamber () and the fan unit (), and the other part () comprises a handle for the stick or upright type vacuum cleaner. At least one air outlet () is placed in the part () comprising the handle.

Vacuum cleaner air outlet

It is presented a dust cup housing () comprising a filter assembly which comprises an outer filter () and an inner filter (). The outer filter and inner filter are formed as receptacles and the inner filter is slidably insertable into the outer filter. In a mounted position the inner filter is arranged to be substantially fully inserted into the outer filter. The filter assembly further comprises a fixing member () which is arranged to retain the inner filter in a predetermined displacement (d) position relative to the mounted position, in response to the inner filter being subjected to an extraction force for detaching the filter assembly from the dust cup housing. Thereby a user of the filter is in a convenient and intuitive way alerted that the filter assembly comprises more than one filter.

The invention relates to a vacuum cleaner, comprising a first lid (), which closes a first compartment (), and a second lid (), which closes a second compartment (). The lids are combined such that the first lid is part of and the first compartment is accommodated inside the second lid. The first and the second lids () are separately openable by means of one common actuator () of a locking mechanism.
