A device for controlling a pivot of a variable-pitch blade in a stator of a turbomachine compressor is disclosed. The device for controlling a pivot of a variable-pitch blade includes a control lever and a pivot with a bottom end and a top end. The top end is connected to the control lever. The device also includes a first swivel bearing placed at the bottom end of the pivot and a second swivel bearing placed at the top end of the pivot.

Control of variable-pitch blades

The invention relates to a novel self-lubricating solid material; to a method of preparing such a material from a powder mixture; to said powder mixture; and to mechanical parts made of said novel material. Said powder mixture comprises a powder of a metal alloy that is a precursor for the matrix of said material, particles of a first solid lubricant such as CeFthat are for insertion in said matrix without reacting with said metal alloy, and particles of a second solid lubricant such as WSor MoSfor reacting with a component of said metal alloy during sintering of the powder to form a lubricating phase. Said material can be used for fabricating a bushing that is to receive a root of a variable-pitch vane of an airplane turbojet compressor.

Powder mixture suitable for sintering to form a self-lubricating solid material

A platform for a turbomachine is fitted to a variable-setting stator blade to repair a worn area on a plate of the blade. The worn area may be caused by contact between the plate and a part of a casing during operation of the turbomachine. The plate may be machined before the platform may be properly fitted to the plate. The platform may include an anti-rotation tab to prevent the platform from rotating relative to an axis of rotation of a pivot of the blade. The platform may also include a collar to cover an outer diameter of the plate. After the platform has been fitted to the plate, the case may contact the platform instead of the plate.

Stator blades, turbomachines comprising such blades and method of repairing such blades

Method for repairing a rubbing surface of a variable-pitch blade of a turbomachine, consisting in filling a deficit of material of said surface of the blade that results from wear thereof by depositing a metallic product by electrolysis then in forming at least one thin layer of a hard material with a low coefficient of friction onto the deposited metallic product and on the surrounding part of said surface.

Method for repairing a rubbing surface of a turbomachine variable-pitch blade

The present invention relates to a plain bearing between two parts movable with respect to each other, the first part having a first bearing element made from a first metal and the second part having a second bearing element made from a second metal of higher hardness. The first bearing element has a surface layer hardened by strain hardening. As a result of the invention, the wear between the parts can be reduced and their life can be substantially lengthened. The invention can be advantageously applied to cases in which the first part is a variable-setting diffuser blade and the second part is a gas turbine casing.

Plain bearing between two parts which are movable with respect to each other

The invention relates to a ceramic-based bushing for mounting in a turbomachine casing to provide a smooth bearing for a pivot of a variable-pitch vane. The bushing is constituted by a metal jacket and a ceramic ring secured to the inside wall of said jacket by brazing. The invention also provides a turbomachine compressor having variable-pitch stator vanes with pivots mounted in the casing by means of such bushings.
