The DC/DC voltage converter comprises at least one switching transistor. An inductor is connected to the at least one switching transistor. A pulse width modulation circuit generates control signals to at least one switching transistor responsive to a current control signal. A current sensor connected in parallel with the inductor senses current passing through the inductor. The sensor comprises a resistor and an NTC capacitor connected in series with the resistor. Circuitry for monitoring the voltage across the NTC capacitor generates the current control signal responsive to the monitored voltage.

System and method for improving inductor current sensing accuracy of a DC/DC voltage regulator

A multilayer capacitor comprises a multilayer body in which dielectric layers and first and second inner electrodes are alternately laminated, and first and second terminal conductors and first and second outer connecting conductors. At least one each of first and second terminal conductors and the first outer connecting conductor are formed on a first side face of the multilayer body. At least one each of the first and second terminal conductors and the second outer connecting conductor are formed on a second side face of the multilayer body opposing the first side face. Each inner electrode is electrically connected to the corresponding outer connecting conductors. First and second inner connecting conductors electrically connected to the corresponding terminal and outer connecting conductors are laminated in the multilayer body. An equivalent series resistance is set to a desirable value by adjusting the number or positions of the inner connecting conductors.

Multilayer capacitor

A multilayer capacitor comprises a capacitor body; first and second inner electrodes alternately arranged in the capacitor body; and a first outer connecting conductor and first and second terminal electrodes arranged on an outer surface of the capacitor body. Each first inner electrode has a first main electrode portion and a first lead electrode portion for connecting the first main electrode portion to the first outer connecting conductor. Each second inner electrode has a second main electrode portion and a second lead electrode portion for connecting the second main electrode portion to at least one second terminal electrode. The capacitor body includes a first inner connecting conductor arranged outside of at least one set of first and second inner electrodes in the opposing direction of the first and second inner electrodes and connected to at least one first terminal electrode and the first outer connecting conductor.

A multilayer capacitor comprises a multilayer body in which a plurality of dielectric layers and a plurality of first and second inner electrodes are alternately laminated, and a plurality of outer conductors (first and second terminal conductors, and first and second outer connecting conductors) formed on the multilayer body. Each of the outer conductors is formed on one of two side faces of the multilayer body opposing each other. Each of the first and second inner electrodes is electrically connected to the corresponding outer connecting conductor. At least one inner connecting conductor layer including a first and a second inner connecting conductors is laminated in the multilayer body. Each of the inner connecting conductors is electrically connected to the corresponding terminal and outer connecting conductors. The equivalent series resistance of the multilayer capacitor is set to a desirable value by adjusting the number or position of inner connecting conductor layer.

A multilayer capacitor comprises a multilayer body in which a plurality of dielectric layers are laminated, and first to fourth outer conductors formed on the multilayer body. The multilayer body includes first to fourth inner conductors. The first and second inner conductors have respective regions opposing each other with at least one dielectric layer in between. The first and second inner conductors are connected to the third and second outer conductors respectively. The third inner conductor is connected to the first and third outer conductors, and the fourth inner conductor is connected to the second and fourth outer conductors. Two outer conductors and the remaining two outer conductors are respectively formed on first and second side faces of the multilayer body which oppose each other and are parallel to an opposing direction of the first and second inner conductors.

A multilayer capacitor comprises a multilayer body in which a plurality of dielectric layers and a plurality of first and second inner electrodes are alternately laminated, and a plurality of outer conductors (first and second terminal conductors, and first and second outer connecting conductors) formed on the multilayer body. The equivalent series resistance of the multilayer capacitor is set to a desirable value by adjusting the number or position of inner connecting conductors.

An electrolytic capacitor with a further lowered impedance is provided. In the electrolytic capacitor in accordance with the present invention, respective currents directed opposite from each other flow through anode and cathode vias extending along the thickness of a substrate. The anode vias are lopsidedly located in a marginal area of an anode electrode pattern, and thus are disposed significantly close to the cathode vias formed in a cathode electrode pattern disposed close to the anode electrode pattern. The cathode vias are lopsidedly located in a marginal area of the cathode electrode pattern, and thus are disposed significantly close to the anode vias. Since the anode and cathode vias are formed close to each other as such, this electrolytic capacitor achieves a lower ESL, thereby attaining an impedance lower than that of a conventional electrolytic capacitor.

Electrolytic capacitor

A unitized, switch activating mechanism for use in keyboard assemblies for activating snap dome or similar type switches. The mechanism includes a relatively hard actuating tip portion disposed intermediate an elastomeric conical skirt portion and a light guide portion. The conical skirt functions both as a light reflector and as a return spring. The light guide portion is constructed from a diffused translucent, relatively hard elastomeric material which functions as a highly efficient light guide for uniformly illuminating the key legend of the key board assembly with which the light guide interfaces.
