An encryption/decryption system to provide a means for user authentication and document authentication using face biometrics. The encryption/decryption system comprises a key storage means for storing a plurality of keys, a face authentication means for determining whether a prospective user of a key in the plurality of keys is the associated user of the key, an encryption/decryption means for encrypting and decrypting data using the plurality of keys when the face authentication means authenticates the prospective user, and a document authentication means that authenticates the user for access to their plurality of keys to digitally sign a document and display the users face used to authenticate access to their plurality of keys in or associated with the document acting as a witness to the signing of the document.

Systems and methods for authentication using digital signature with biometrics

Embodiments provide, in at least one aspect, methods and systems that authenticate at least one face in at least one digital image using techniques to mitigate spoofing. For example, methods and systems trigger an image capture device to capture a sequence images of the user performing the sequence of one or more position requests based on the pitch and yaw movements. The methods and systems generate a series of face signatures for the sequence of images of the user performing the sequence of one or more position requests. The methods and systems compare the generated series of face signatures to stored face signatures corresponding to the requested sequence of the one or more position requests.

Face authentication to mitigate spoofing

Methods and systems are provided for sharing a digital image depicting one or more faces. The method may include linking a plurality of computer terminals to a computer network, each computer terminal associated with an individual; receiving a digital image at at least one of the computer terminals; executing a face recognition routine on the digital image, the face recognition routine detecting at least one face in the digital image, each detected face corresponding to a person, the face recognition routine recognizing at least one of the persons as being one of the individuals; and for each individual recognized in the digital image by the face recognition routine, initiating dissemination of the digital image to the computer terminal associated with respective individual whose face is recognized in the digital image.

Method, system and computer program for identification and sharing of digital images with face signatures

The present invention provides, in at least one aspect, methods and systems that detect at least one face in at least one digital image, determine and store area co-ordinates of a location of the at least one detected face in the at least one digital image, apply at least one transformation to the at least one detected face to create at least one portrait of the at least one detected face, rotate the at least one portrait at least until the at least one portrait is shown in a vertical orientation and a pair of eyes of the at least one face shown in the at least one portrait are positioned on a horizontal plane; and store the rotated at least one portrait.

Method, system, and computer program for identification and sharing of digital images with face signatures

The present invention solves the problem of automatically recognizing multiple known faces in photos or videos on a local computer storage device (on a home computer). It further allows for sophisticated organization and presentation of the photos or videos based on the graphical selection of known faces (by selecting thumbnail images of people). It also solves the problem of sharing or distributing photos or videos in an automated fashion between 'friends' who are also using the same software that enables the invention. It further solves the problem of allowing a user of the invention to review the results of the automatic face detection, eye detection, and face recognition methods and to correct any errors resulting from the automated process.
