Some embodiments of the present light fixtures include a body, a waveguide, and one or more independently-controllable light sources. The waveguide is configured to be coupled to the body and may include a first end configured to receive light emitted from at least one of the light source(s) and to direct the received light to (and in some embodiments, emit the received light from) a second end of the waveguide. In some embodiments of the present fixtures, the waveguide defines an opening through which light emitted from at least one of the light source(s) can pass, the light source(s) being coupled to the body such that a first one of the light source(s) emits light into the first end of the waveguide and a second one of the light source emits light through the opening.

Some fixture mounts include a body that is couplable to a structure, the body having an upper surface, a lower surface, and a peripheral surface that connects the upper and lower surfaces and defines one or more ledges, wherein the body is couplable to a fixture such that each of first and second protruding features of the fixture is received between one of the ledge(s) and the upper surface. In some fixture mounts, the protruding features are slidable along the ledge(s) above which they are received such that the fixture is rotatable relative to the body. In some fixture mounts, at least one of the ledge(s) is tapered such that, as a protruding feature of the fixture that is received above the ledge is moved toward the ledge, the fixture is urged toward the upper surface.

A downlight includes a housing having a thermally-conductive upper wall, a lower wall defining an aperture, and a sidewall extending between the upper wall and the lower wall, where a majority, by weight, of the upper wall includes a first material, and a majority, by weight, of the sidewall includes a second material that is different than the first material; and a light fixture configured to be coupled to the housing such that a light source of the light fixture is adjacent to and in thermal communication with the upper wall.
