The promotion generation server may obtain a group chat code from a given mobile wireless communications device for starting a group chat with other users, and obtain a unique identifier from the given mobile wireless communications device and add a respective mobile wireless communications device to the group chat based upon the unique identifier. The promotion generation server may also generate tasks for the users to complete via the respective mobile wireless communications devices for display within the group chat, and determine when each of the tasks has been completed based upon input from at least one of the mobile wireless communications devices, and when so generate and communicate the digital promotion to the mobile wireless communications devices for display within the group chat.

An electronic system may a remote computer that may parse an electronic message received by a mobile wireless communications device of a given user for a keyword indicative of a desired item for purchase. The remote computer may obtain a user identifier associated with the given user for a retailer loyalty program for a given retailer. The remote computer may also access the retailer loyalty program based upon the user identifier and generate an electronic shopping list for the given retailer based upon the access to the retailer loyalty program and send the electronic shopping list to the mobile wireless communications device. The shopping list may include the desired item for purchase. The remote computer may also generate a digital promotion associated with at least one item on the electronic shopping list and send notification of the digital promotion to the mobile wireless communications device.

A system for determining regulatory compliance of a digital promotion may include a user device and a regulatory offers server. The server may obtain, via the user device, a proposed digital promotion associated with a regulated product, a geographic region, and proposed promotional terms. A corresponding legal jurisdiction corresponding to the geographic region may be determined, and if the promotion is compliant based upon the regulations for the corresponding jurisdiction, the proposed promotion, and the proposed promotional terms may be determined. If the promotion is not compliant, the proposed promotional terms may be revised to generate a suggested compliant promotion based upon the regulations for the corresponding jurisdiction. A compliance indication may be communicated to the user device, and when not compliant, the suggested compliant digital promotion may also be communicated.

A system for recommending social media metadata tags may include a user device configured to accept, as an input, a keyword associated with social media content to be published. A metadata tag recommendation server may obtain the keyword from the user device, and generate recommended social media metadata tags based upon the keyword. The server may also determine a respective relevance of each recommended social media metadata tag within a given social media platform based upon at least one property of the recommended social media metadata tag, and determine a respective reach characteristic of each recommended social media metadata tag within the given social media platform. The server may also assign a respective score to each of the recommended social media metadata tags based upon the respective relevance and respective reach characteristic thereof, and communicate the recommended social media metadata tags and respective scores to the user device.

The promotions server may assign the incentive to a digital wallet for the purchaser based upon the product identifier image and redeem the incentive based upon the geographic location of the mobile device.

A coupon processing system may include a point-of-sale (POS) terminal at a retail location. The POS terminal may be configured to communicate instant redeemable coupon (IRC) data associated with a physical IRC for a given product. The coupon processing system may also include a promotions server remote from the retail location and cooperating with the POS terminal to redeem the physical IRC for the given product based upon the IRC data and assign a post-purchase coupon value to a digital wallet associated with a purchaser of the given product based upon redeeming of the physical IRC.
