A system and a method receive broadcast multimedia on a mobile device. The system and the method may use a broadcast receiver accessory that may connect to a mobile device. The system and the method may have a bidirectional data connection between the broadcast receiver accessory and the mobile device. The broadcast receiver accessory may translate, reformat and/or repackage content into a form that may be viewed on the mobile device. The broadcast receiver accessory may have a tuner component, an application processor, an audio rendering element and/or memory.

System and method for receiving broadcast multimedia on a mobile device

The present invention essentially comprises a horn separated into a plurality of sections, wherein the horn is supported by a mounting bracket that may be both rotatable and pivotable and wherein the horn is made of two portions wherein the general middle is used as the attachment point to a bracket while both ends are also supported by the bracket.

An acupressure device is especially adapted for use as an anti-nausea prophylactic. The device comprises a substantially flat base having first and second opposing surfaces and a central aperture. A rounded button is disposed within the central aperture, the rounded pressure-applying surface of the button facing in the same direction as the first surface of the base. A pluraliy of spokes extend from the button to the perimeter of the central aperture, thereby supporting the button within the aperture. The first surface of the base has an adhesive coating so that the device may be adhered to the skin with the button contacting a desired acupressure point.

A peck feed drill incorporates a motor gear quill and a feed control assembly together on a moving race track shaped piston. External construction of the housing permits mounting of an indexing adaptor plug for attachment of drill bushings. Internal construction of the housing provides for passage of air to the various components to which control tool operation. Valves within the air logic circuitry are multi-functional to minimize the number of parts.

A pressure regulating ear plug for regulating the rate of change of pressure inside an ear to minimize the pressure differential between the middle ear and a volume of the external ear cavity adjacent the ear drum is made of an ear plug adapted to fit tightly within the external ear cavity with no or minimal air leakage, and disposed within the ear plug is a pressure regulator with a slow leak rate. The pressure regulator is preferably made of a porous ceramic material.

In a radio communication system, a method of transmitting encoded data includes providing a plurality of discrete data elements to be presently transmitted. These data elements are then encoded using a first encoding technique. An indication is then provided when at least some of the encoded discrete data elements have been compromised. At the receiver, it is determined whether at least some of the received, encoded, discrete data elements have been compromised. A decision metric is then provided based on this determination, and the data elements are decoded using the decision metric.

A double wall, light-weight tank construction for the storage of flammable liquids is formed from two conventional steel tanks having flame proof, curable cementitious insulative material between the walls. Spacers preformed preferably of the same cementitious material are glued about the exterior surface of a conventional inner tank having ports. An exterior tank is formed with one end cover being detachable. Apertures are cut in the exterior tank to align with the ports of the inner tank when it is in its final nested position within the exterior tank. Stoppers and vents are placed in a sidewall of the exterior tank. Both tanks are oriented vertically, and the interior tank is then lowered into the exterior tank with concentric alignment provided by the spacers. Nipples are then attached to the ports, and rings are placed over the nipples and welded to the nipples and the exterior tank. The detached end cover is welded to the exterior tank. The assembled tanks are placed horizontally or may remain vertically aligned. Mixed cementitious insulating material in plastic-phase is then pumped upwardly via the sidewall or the bottom stopper to fill the space between the tanks in a single application. The cementitious material is then cured, excess moisture is drained away, and the stoppers and vents are sealed to complete the tank construction.
