Methods and systems are provided for a compressor of a turbocharger of an engine. In one example, a compressor may include a flow passage and a resonance chamber surrounding the flow passage, with the flow passage fluidly coupled with the resonance chamber by a recirculation passage, a bleed passage, and a plurality of apertures positioned between the recirculation passage and the bleed passage. Flowing fluid from the resonance chamber, through the apertures, and into the flow passage may reduce a noise level of the compressor.

Turbocharger compressor noise reduction system and method

A system for an engine comprising an engine drive system and an oil delivery system is provided. According to one embodiment, the engine drive system includes a chain that engages a plurality of drive sprockets and a chain guide that pivots about a pin. Further, the pin may include an internal oil passage that is in fluidic communication with the oil delivery system. In this way, improved oil lubrication can be provided with simplified structure and manufacturing.

A system for an engine drive that engages a timing band with a camshaft and a crankshaft is provided. The system further includes a coupling device that couples the camshaft to another camshaft that is not engaged with the timing band. The coupling device and the camshafts are in such a configuration that the camshafts rotate in opposing directions.
