A vehicle door system includes at least one sliding door which is arranged on the side and can be displaced out from the B-pillar. A securing system is provided for latching the sliding door on the B-pillar in the case of an external impact against the B-pillar occurring obliquely from the front. The securing system can block the at least one sliding door from opening in response to the external impact. The securing system includes a catchment claw that engages a securing hook to hold the at least one sliding door to the B-pillar.

Vehicle door system

A door assembly for a motor vehicle is provided having a door body and a door trim panel attached to the door body on the vehicle inside, with a first impact region and a second impact region formed integrally therewith, wherein at each of the impact regions, an intermediate space is formed between the door trim panel and the door body. In order to allow an optimized protection of an occupant's pelvic region from impact by a vehicle door in a side impact, it is provided that a nominal break line is formed between the first impact region and the second impact region, along which the first impact region or seat impact region can be separated from the second impact region by a force acting in the vehicle transverse direction.

Door assembly for a motor vehicle

A vehicle seat part has a cover with a tear seam and an airbag module with an airbag and a force concentrator. The force concentrator partially surrounds the airbag. The concentrator has two end regions connected to the cover adjacent to and on opposing sides of the tear seam. One of the end regions is connected to the cover at a plurality of connecting portions spaced apart from one another.

Vehicle seat part

A metal reinforcement for a B-pillar of an automotive vehicle includes a lower flange and an upper structure. The lower flange is adapted to adjoin a door sill structure of the automotive vehicle, and the upper structure includes a central portion, surrounded by a plurality of spaced, paired regions. In each paired region, members are identically ordered in position from the central portion, and both members of each paired region have the same profile thickness.
