A handgun grip module assembly includes a grip module with a handgrip portion, a slide portion, and a trigger guard extending between and connecting the handgrip portion to the slide portion. The slide portion extends longitudinally along a central axis and has opposed sidewalls and a bottom wall. The slide portion defines a bracket recess in the bottom wall and defines a receiver well between the opposed sidewalls and above the handgrip portion. A recoil bracket is movably disposed in the bracket recess. In some examples, the grip module can be made of a metal or a metal-infused polymer. During use, the recoil bracket can move in response to forces exerted on it during the firing cycle.

An adjustable firearm sight includes a body made of a flexible and resilient material. The body includes an elevation arm connected to the body and extending proximally therefrom to a sight portion, where the elevation arm and the body comprise a monolithic structure. A cam body below the elevation arm has a cam surface in contact with a bottom surface of the elevation arm, where the cam body is rotatable to change a vertical position of the sight portion. Also disclosed is a front sight assembly where a sight element is disposed in a longitudinal bore through a sight body. A proximal end of the longitudinal bore has a reduced size. At a distal end, a retention pin is disposed in a retention bore that extends transversely to and intersects the longitudinal bore such that the retention pin occupies the longitudinal bore to retain the sight element.

An ambidextrous thumb safety assembly, configured for use in a firearm, includes a first lever assembly for positioning on a first side of the firearm, a second lever assembly for positioning on a second side of the firearm, and a monolithic shaft assembly for coupling the first lever assembly and the second lever assembly. The monolithic shaft assembly includes a first support portion configured to rotatably engage a first portion of a frame of the firearm, a second support portion configured to rotatably engage a second portion of the frame of the firearm, and a control portion configured to selectively prohibit operation of a trigger mechanism of the firearm.
