A flexible display apparatus includes a frame module having a sliding path to guide the winding or unwinding of a flexible display module, and a sliding shaft configured to slide along a spiral sliding path via vertical movement of the flexible display module. The flexible display apparatus makes it easy to wind or unwind a large flexible display panel.

Flexible display apparatus

Disclosed is a backlight unit and a display device including the same. The backlight unit includes a backlight configured to supply light in one direction, a case that accommodates the backlight, and a cabinet coupled to a top of the case, and configured to include a side wall which faces one direction. The inside of the case has a hive structure. At least one edge region of the case includes a stepped portion which is lower in height than a central region of the case to accommodate the cabinet.

Backlight unit and display device using the same

A flexible display apparatus has a small thickness which makes it easy to wind or unwind a flexible display module. The flexible display apparatus includes a frame module, into or from which a flexible display module is wound or unwound, and a panel elevating module configured to vertically move the flexible display module via folding or unfolding of at least one retractable unit. The retractable unit includes joint members provided at ends of first and second links intersecting each other, and elastic members installed to the respective joint members and supported by the ends of the first and second links.

A display device is discussed, which can include a display panel; a backlight unit providing light to the display panel; an optical member coupled to at least one of an upper surface and a lower surface of the display panel and extended to an outer direction of the display panel to surround an outside of the backlight unit or the display panel; and an elastic adhesive portion coupling the backlight unit with the optical member.

Display device

Disclosed is an LCD device with reduced thickness and bezel width. The LCD device includes a liquid crystal display panel configured to include an upper substrate and a lower substrate that are facing-coupled to each other, a backlight unit configured to include a light guide plate which irradiates light incident from a light source module on the liquid crystal display panel and an optical sheet disposed on the light guide plate, and a coupling member configured to couple the liquid crystal display panel to the light guide plate with the optical sheet therebetween such that a sealed space is provided between the liquid crystal display panel and the light guide plate.

A backlight unit that includes a plurality of light source packages configured to each include a metal printed-circuit-board (PCB) and light emitting diodes; a plurality of light guide plates disposed parallel to the light source packages, respectively; at least one fixation member formed on an incident surface of each light guide plate corresponding to one side surface of each light guide plate; and a bottom cover configured to include a plurality of fixation holes which are formed to receive and secure the respective fixation members.
