A display apparatus is disclosed that includes a first touch sensor including first driving electrodes and first sensing electrodes arranged in a first area, a second touch sensor including second driving electrodes and second sensing electrodes arranged in a second area, a first touch integrated circuit configured to generate a first sensing signal, a second touch integrated circuit configured to generate a second sensing signal, and a control unit configured to select a touch area including a touch location from among the first area and the second area, based on the first sensing signal and the second sensing signal, and control the first touch integrated circuit and the second touch integrated circuit to sense the touch area in a first sensing mode and the remaining area in a second sensing mode.

Display apparatus

A display device includes a display panel and an input sensing part disposed on the display panel. The input sensing part includes first sensing electrodes extending in a first direction and arranged in a second direction crossing the first direction, first lines connected to the first sensing electrodes, second sensing electrodes extending in the second direction and arranged in the first direction, and second lines connected to the second sensing electrodes. The second lines include second-first lines defined as j-th to k-th second lines, and the first lines are connected to the second-first lines.

Display device including an input sensing part

An electronic device includes a window, a display module, a pressure sensor, and a bracket. The window includes a flat area and a curved area. The display module is disposed on a lower surface of the window to overlap with the flat area and the curved area. The pressure sensor is disposed on a lower surface of the display module to overlap with the curved area. The bracket is disposed on the lower surface of the display module and coupled to at least one of the window and the display module. The pressure sensor is disposed between the window and the bracket. The lower surface of the window and the lower surface of the display module face the same direction.

Electronic device

A touch panel includes a substrate, detection electrodes, and connection electrodes. The substrate includes a planar surface portion and a curved surface portion adjacent to the planar surface portion in a first direction, the curved surface portion including an active region and another region disposed outside the active region. The detection electrodes are disposed on the substrate. The detection electrodes are arranged in the first direction and a second direction crossing the first direction. The connection electrodes electrically connect adjacent detection electrodes arranged in a same direction as one another. A connection electrode of the connection electrodes connecting detection electrodes adjacent to each other of the detection electrodes arranged in the first direction is disposed in the active region of the curved surface portion. The connection electrode includes a portion extending in a different direction than the first direction.

An electronic device includes a window, a display module, a pressure sensor, and a bracket. The window includes a flat area and a curved area. The display module is disposed on a lower surface of the window to overlap with the flat area and the curved area. The pressure sensor is disposed on a lower surface of the display module to overlap with the flat area and the curved area. The bracket is disposed on the lower surface of the display module and coupled to at least one of the window and the display module. The pressure sensor is spaced apart from an upper surface of the bracket. The lower surface of the window and the lower surface of the display module face the same direction.

A display device includes a pressure sensing element. The pressure sensing element senses a pressure input applied thereto from the outside, and the display device is controlled based on the sensed pressure input. The pressure sensing element includes a contact sensing area to sense the pressure input and a defect sensing area to sense a defect. The pressure sensing element measures a resistance value in the defect sensing area and identifies whether at least one of lines of the pressure sensing element is disconnected.
