The present disclosure relates to a method for transmitting or receiving biometric information in a continuous glucose monitoring system and, more specifically, to a method for transmitting or receiving biometric information, in which: when a sensor transmitter generates a transmission packet, the transmission packet is generated to include a generation identifier for identifying the transmission packet or biometric information according to a generation order of the transmission packet or the biometric information, and therefore the biometric information may be transmitted or received without a loss thereof via the generation identifier; and a transmission packet or biometric information, which a communication terminal has failed to receive, is correctly determined on the basis of a packet generation identifier or a total number of transmission packets, so that only biometric information or a transmission packet, which has failed to be received between the sensor transmitter and the communication terminal, may be transmitted or received in a distinguished manner.

Method for transmitting and receiving biometric information without loss in continuous blood glucose monitoring system

An apparatus for controlling operations of a continuous glucose monitoring system. When a continuous glucose monitoring system is located within a certain distance from a user terminal, power of a battery is supplied to the continuous glucose monitoring system through a power switch switched on by an enable signal generated by a near field communication module, thereby operating the continuous glucose monitoring system without user intervention. The near field communication module provides connection information to the user terminal, thereby automatically performing a pairing connection with the user terminal using the near field communication module and a bluetooth communication module. When the pairing connection with the user terminal is completed, an enable signal generated by the bluetooth communication module is provided to the power switch, thereby maintaining the pairing connection with the user terminal even when the user terminal is outside of range for near field communication.

Apparatus for controlling operations of continuous glucose monitoring system

The present disclosure relates to a communication connection method for a continuous glucose monitoring system. A communication connection method for a continuous glucose monitoring system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure may comprise: a step in which, in order to connect communication between a communication terminal and a sensor transmitter attached to a human body so as to continuously monitor biometric information of the human body, the communication terminal receives information of the sensor transmitter from the sensor transmitter; a step of determining, on the basis of the received information, whether the sensor transmitter is a new sensor transmitter or an already used sensor transmitter; and a step in which, when the sensor transmitter is an already used transmitter, communication connection is controlled on the basis of use information of the already used sensor transmitter. The present disclosure is advantageous in that, if communication between a sensor transmitter inserted into a human body and a communication terminal for receiving glucose data from the sensor transmitter is disconnected, the communication between the existing sensor transmitter and the communication terminal can be quickly connected when the communication is reconnected.
