The present invention relates to an instrument for inspecting a cavity or a tract of a human body in a visual or photographing mode, in particular to an insertion part of an electronic endoscope and the electronic endoscope. The electronic endoscope comprises an operation part and the insertion part which are detachably connected, a plurality of operation part rack guide rollers in the operation part are arrayed in the fore-aft direction of an operation part shell, operation part racks are slidably supported on the plurality of operation part rack guide rollers, and the operation part racks and the connection portion racks are detachable. IgG epitope and applications thereof as a target are provided. The IgG epitope is the C1 domain of non-B cell-derived IgG, and there is N-glycosylated sialic acid modification at the Asn162 site of the domain. The realization of its antigen functions must depend on the sialylation of the site. The present invention further discloses the applications of the IgG epitope as a drug target in preparing drugs for diagnosis and/or treatment of epithelial tumors. In addition, our studies showed that this antigen depends on the sialylation of Asn162 site as a drug target, and the sialylation of this site must depend on sialyltransferase ST3GAL4, indicating that the enzyme can be used as a drug target for preparing tumor therapeutic drugs. Further, integrin β4 is co-expressed and co-localized with IgG containing the epitope. IgG can be used as a marker for preparing drugs for the auxiliary detection of epithelial tumors.

Described are variational Expectation Maximization (EM) embodiments for learning a mixture model using component-dependent data partitions, where the E-step is sub-linear in sample size while the algorithm still maintains provable convergence guarantees. Component-dependent data partitions into blocks of data items are constructed according to a hierarchical data structure comprised of nodes, where each node corresponds to one of the blocks and stores statistics computed from the data items in the corresponding block. A modified variational EM algorithm computes the mixture model from initial component-dependent data partitions and a variational R-step updates the partitions. This process is repeated until convergence. Component membership probabilities computed in the E-step are constrained such that all data items belonging to a particular block in a particular component-dependent partition behave in the same way. The E-step can therefore consider the blocks or chunks of data items via their representative statistics, rather than considering individual data items.
