The present invention relates to an energy supply circuit for instantly supplying power without a power converter and an electronic device which operates only when energy is supplied from an energy source using the same. An energy supply circuit without a power converter according to the present invention comprises: an energy extraction unitfor generating power from an energy source; and output unitfor supplying power to an external electronic circuit; a switch unitinterposed between the energy extraction unit and the output unitto connect an output end of the energy extraction unitto the output unitwhen switched on; and a maximum power point tracking control unitfor generating an open/closed signal for opening or closing the switch unitaccording to the voltage and current of the energy extraction unit. The present invention has a technical feature wherein a turn-on point of the open/closed signal comes at a time when the output end voltage of the energy extraction unitis Vh, and a turn-off point comes at a time when the output end voltage of the energy extraction unitis Vl. Accordingly, the present invention has a simple configuration, low manufacturing costs, has no energy loss due to the power conversion, and has no reduction in life due to charging and discharging of an energy storage device.

Energy supply circuit without power converter and electronic device using same

The present invention relates to a method for controlling a bit rate and an apparatus therefor, and more specifically to an apparatus for storing a bit rate changed according to a significant level in a memory and a method for determining the bit rate, which meets the requirements for the distortion according to the memory space limitation and the significant level of the image information so as to minimize the energy consumption.

Method for determining bit rate and apparatus therefor

The present invention relates to a high-speed motion compensation apparatus and method. The high-speed motion compensation apparatus for H.264/AVC includes a bus interface unit for reading a plurality of word addresses from an external storage device, aligning the reference pixels arranged over the plurality of word addresses, temporarily storing the aligned reference pixels, and sequentially outputting the aligned and temporarily stored reference pixels. A buffer unit temporarily stores overlapping reference pixels, which are repeatedly used to generate the sub-pixels, among the reference pixels output from the bus interface unit. An interpolation unit generates first half pixels, second half pixels, first quarter pixels, and second quarter pixels, using the reference pixels output from the bus interface unit. A chroma filter unit generates chrome pixels using the reference pixels output from the bus interface unit. Therefore, the high-speed motion compensation apparatus is advantageous in that the number of accesses to memory can be reduced, and reference pixels are prevented from being repeatedly read, thus enabling motion compensation to be performed at high speed.
