The method of forming a metal layer includes: placing a substrate in a sputtering chamber; forming a first metal sub-layer on the substrate by performing a magnetron sputtering process; and forming a second metal sub-layer on the first metal sub-layer by performing another magnetron sputtering process and concurrently introducing a heated gas stream in the sputtering chamber, wherein the first metal sub-layer and the second metal sub-layer together constitute the metal layer and are each formed of aluminum doped with copper. The metal layer resulting from this method contains uniformly-sized small crystal grains separated from one another by minimal gaps between their grain boundaries. This imparts to the metal layer high surface flatness with fewer undesired bumps and hence good appearance, resulting in an increase in its yield.

The present disclosure discloses an array substrate, a display panel and a display device. The array substrate includes gate regions, gate lines, data lines, pixel electrodes and common electrode lines. The common electrode lines and the gate lines have the same extension direction, the pixel electrodes are located in regions defined by adjacent gate lines and adjacent data lines, the gate lines traverse the gate regions in the extension direction that are located in the same row as the gate lines, and the pixel electrodes have a gap from the gate lines at ends thereof closer to the gate lines. As such, a portion of the gate region that extends to the pixel region has a reduced area and hence a reduced edge length. This way, during the cleaning of the active layer after formation, less active layer metal may remain at the edges of the gate region. Thereby, the array substrate fabrication process is improved, and a product yield rate of the array substrate is increased.

A distance sensing substrate, a display device, a display system, and a resolution adjustment method are disclosed. The above distance sensing substrate includes a particle emitter for emitting a first particle beam to a viewer; a particle receiver for receiving the first particle beam reflected by the viewer; and a processing unit for obtaining an energy density of the emitted first particle beam and an energy density of the received first particle beam. The resolution of the display screen can be adjusted based on the viewing distance from the viewer to the display screen. When the viewing distance of the user is relatively large, the resolution of the display screen will be reduced appropriately, so as to reduce a power consumption of the display screen on the premise of ensuring a viewing effect of the user.
